Am I good enough?
Am I up to par?
How will others perceive me?
I spent a long time debating these issues.
As I dug deeper, I came to the realization that I was seeking affirmation from others because I did not believe I was good enough.
I was therefore worried about what other people would think of me.
When I felt empty inside, I looked outside:
But if you take a different perspective.
Am I okay?
I'm ok!
When we rearrange the same words, their meaning is altered.
The query is "AM I?"
The response is "I AM."
Carl Rogers articulated it so well. "If only I could be transparent about who I am, that would be sufficient."
Perhaps the key to personal improvement is self acceptance!
Do you believe you are capable?
Do you present yourself honestly?
How can you improve yourself by 3.5 times?
I'm sure you've read this:
If you continually improve by 1%, at the end of the year, you will have improved by 3.5 times.
It is an easy way for us to get better.
Here are 5 easy habits I use to improve myself every day:
1. Keep a diary where you may routinely write about and reflect on yourself every day. This will help you understand yourself better and will clear up any confusion.
My life has been altered by it.
2. Apply what you've learned; even a modest action can have a huge impact.
I learned about psychology and began using what I had learned to help myself.
This changed me.
3. Watch those around you and pick up tips from them.
I make an effort to adopt one positive habit from each individual I meet.
It might be something insignificant, like the way the individual grins.
4. The best way to learn is to put yourself in challenging situations, and failing is even better.
You are learning more the more awkward you feel.
5. We learn, develop, and change when we try new things every day and when we approach old tasks in fresh ways.
