The purposes of Religion
The main purpose of religion is to reform us to become good workers so that we Can become good citizens. We cannot be good citizens if we are bad workers. The main purpose of religion is to reform us to enable us to truly perform our creative assignments. Religion will enhance us the opportunity to have the moral virtues to guide us. The aim of religion is to enlighten our minds towards the moral development of our hearts by assisting our fellow citizens in the overall development of our country. One of the tenets of religion is to reach us how to live peacefully with other people. It encourages everyone to love one another and to see all citizens as members of one family. The sum total of religion is to teach us about total submission to the will of God, to dedicate our lives to good deeds so that we can become good citizens. The essence of religion is to assist us in acquiring moral virtues.
