Dina Meyer, born on December 22, 1968, is an American actress known for her versatile roles in both film and television. She initially gained attention with a recurring role on the Fox teen drama series "Beverly Hills, 90210" from 1993 to 1994. However, she truly made her mark in Hollywood when she starred alongside Keanu Reeves in the 1995 sci-fi film "Johnny Mnemonic."
Meyer has appeared in a variety of films, showcasing her talent across different genres. She notably starred in "Dragonheart" (1996), "Starship Troopers" (1997), "Bats" (1999), "D-Tox" (2002), and "Star Trek: Nemesis" (2002). Her portrayal of Detective Allison Kerry in the "Saw" film franchise also garnered attention from audiences.


On the small screen, Meyer starred as Barbara Gordon/Oracle/Batgirl in the short-lived series "Birds of Prey" (2002–2003), which showcased her ability to bring comic book characters to life. She was also a regular cast member on "Secret Agent Man" (2000) and "Point Pleasant" (2005).
In addition to her notable roles, Meyer appeared as Kellie in the dystopian film "Amerigeddon" in 2016, further demonstrating her range as an actress.


Dina Meyer's career took off after she moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to join the cast of the Fox teen drama series "Beverly Hills, 90210," where she portrayed the character Lucinda Nicholson in a recurring role. Shortly thereafter, she landed a significant role opposite Keanu Reeves in the action film "Johnny Mnemonic." Her talent and versatility were further showcased when she starred in the fantasy film "Dragonheart" in 1996.


In 1997, Meyer had a recurring role as Kate Miller in the popular NBC sitcom "Friends." Later that same year, she appeared alongside Casper Van Dien in the science-fiction film "Starship Troopers," directed by Paul Verhoeven, although the film did not perform as well at the box office as expected.
Continuing her diverse career, Meyer starred alongside James Caan in the neo-noir film "Poodle Springs" in 1998, which was released on HBO. The following year, she took on the lead role in the horror film "Bats," which achieved moderate success at the box office.
In 2002, Meyer appeared opposite Sylvester Stallone in the thriller film "D-Tox" and also portrayed Romulan Commander Donatra in the science-fiction film "Star Trek: Nemesis."


Meyer's television work is equally notable. She starred in the UPN spy drama series "Secret Agent Man" in 2000, although the series was canceled after one season. From 2002 to 2003, she portrayed Barbara Gordon/Oracle/Batgirl in the short-lived The WB superhero series "Birds of Prey." Meyer reprised this role in 2019 on the CW series "The Flash" during the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event.
Throughout her career, Meyer has also appeared in various television movies, including "Deception" (2004), "Crimes of Passion" (2005), "His and Her Christmas" (2005), "The Boy Next Door" (2008), and "Web of Desire" (2009), showcasing her talent across different genres and formats.


In 2004, Dina Meyer portrayed Detective Allison Kerry in the horror film "Saw." She reprised this role in the sequels "Saw II" (2005), "Saw III" (2006), and "Saw IV" (2007), establishing herself as a notable presence in the franchise. Following her success in the horror genre, Meyer starred in several straight-to-video horror films, including "Crazy Eights" (2006) and "Decoys 2: Alien Seduction" (2007).


Her versatility extended beyond horror as she appeared in the horror-comedy film "Piranha 3D" (2010) and the horror film "The Evil Within" (2017). In 2013, Meyer ventured into the Western genre with a role in "Dead in Tombstone," where she starred opposite Mickey Rourke.
Meyer continued to showcase her talent in television, making guest appearances on various series such as "Ally McBeal," "Six Feet Under," "Nip/Tuck," "The Mentalist," "Castle," "NCIS," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "American Horror Story." She had recurring roles in the ABC comedy-drama "Scoundrels" in 2010 and on The CW teen drama "90210" from 2011 to 2012.


In 2014, Meyer starred opposite Patrick Warburton and Jesse Bradford in the Crackle series "Sequestered." She further expanded her television portfolio with recurring roles in the SyFy fantasy series "The Magicians" in 2018 and in the fourth season of Showtime's critically acclaimed drama "The Affair."
In 2019, Meyer began appearing in a recurring role in the CW sports drama "All American" as Gwen Adams, the mother of Asher, portrayed by Cody Christian, further solidifying her presence across different genres in both film and television.
