Tips To Control your Anxiety
Worry is a normal part of life. Repressing anxious thoughts won’t work; they will just pop up again, sometimes with more intensity.
There are a few steps you can take the moment when anxiety starts to take hold.
Practice mindfulness practice observing your thoughts, rather than reacting automatically to them.
Breathe in and out Deep breathing helps you calm down. While you may have heard about specific breathing exercises.
Just do something. Stand up, take a walk, throw away a piece of trash from your desk -- any action that interrupts your train of thought helps you regain a sense of control.
You’re a fighter – you must fight against anxiety.“Stay Calm, Stay Fit”!
Sleep well and comfortably. Keep the TV out of the bedroom and turn off your phone. Set up the room so it is soothing to you.
