Mysterious Death of John Barnett or is it?

The late John Barnett was found dead this past weekend. John was the former QC manager for Boeing,and he became a whistleblower against the company for safety concerns over the commercial planes that were in production. His body was found in a Holiday Inn parking lot in Charleston, S.C. John Barnett conveniently died during the middle of his court disposition as a whistleblower against Boeing (convenient for Boeing that is.) State officials have stated that this was a "self-inflicted" gunshot would to the head.

Now this is still an open investigate without any conclusion. However, the timing and method of John Barnett's death carries suspicion. Why would John Barnett commit suicide when he was in the middle of a testimony? Perhaps he was trying to help uncover truths about what really was happening at Boeing. Sounds a bit of foul play to me given the circumstances. In any regards of the matter - we send prayers to his family at this time over his mysterious death.
