This applies to any type of copy; social media copy, email copy, website copy, ad copy, sales letters, VSL(Video sales letter) but the most important part is speaking to your audience in the language they understand.

✔ ️Know your audience(Who are you writing to): You've heard this several times but I want to remind you. Knowing who you are writing to makes the entire process enjoyable. Let's say you're to write a copy for a real estate agency.

Use the buyer persona; A buyer persona is a detailed description of someone who represents your target audience.
A buyer persona should include the interests, challenges, goals and demographics of the person representing your target audience.

Quick tip: To dig into the demographics, start with your local environment. That's how to research😁 For real estate; you'd be targeting business owners and politicians.

Why? This is because after conducting your demographic test, you'd find out that these are the people who have the money you're looking for. Don't get me wrong, anyone outside that category could afford the luxury of owning an apartment but speak to your ideal audience.
