Our story today is “Keep hope in life” because without hope, life seems deserted. Only hope provides light and direction to success. As long as you have hope, you can overcome any difficulty. Maintaining hope in life is a powerful ability, which will support you every step of the way.

Maintain hope in life :-

Once upon a time, a poor family in a village was going through its struggle. There were three members in this family – husband, wife, and a small girl. The poor person was not getting a job, due to which his financial condition was very difficult.

The child would sometimes ask her parents, “When will everything be fine in our house?” She would look at other people's homes, where everything was fine, and she would face new problems every day in her own home. They had to think every day about how tomorrow would be and where their food would come from.

To boost his daughter's morale, the father would take her out of the house every day and show her a mountain and say, “Son! Look at this mountain, the one above lives here, pray to Him that He will make everything right.”

That girl prayed every day that everything would be fine and prayed that her father would get a job.

One day his prayers paid off and he got a job in his father's army.

All three were very happy and felt that now everything would be fine. But time is not always the same.

After a few days this state was attacked by another state. The soldier father now had to go to fight the war. When he was leaving with love from his family, his daughter hugged him and started crying and said, “Papa! You don't go. I have asked for such a job for you which will put your life in danger, don't go! Stay with us.”

The father explains to her, “I have to go, my child! It doesn't matter if one dies for this state." Hearing all this the girl started crying even more.

When her father started walking, the girl said, “Papa, the one who lives on top of the mountain, right? Give them this letter of mine and tell them to fulfill my wish.

The father smiled and thought that he has really accepted that someone higher up lives on the mountain.

After that, he put the letter in the bag and left home, met his remaining soldiers and the contingent left for war.

The girl's father knew that they would not be able to win the war because many soldiers on their side were dying. Before father reached the border, he used to come to a post office. The soldier father put a letter and wrote on it, “Son, please forgive me, no one from above lives here, I was just encouraging you.”

The father thought that if I send this letter back home, the girl will get it and she will understand that father used to lie that no one lives near the top of the mountain, then who knows I might not be able to return from this war. Along with this letter, the letter written by the girl was also put in the same post office without reading it.

A very fierce war took place and continued for two-three months. One by one the soldiers accompanying his father were dying and the news had spread in the village that the army of this kingdom had been destroyed. The same troop in which this girl's father had gone.

There was an atmosphere of sadness in the house. The girl cursed the person upstairs and said, “Oh God! What have you done? You took away my father from me.”

Three-four months had passed and one day suddenly a person came and stood at the door. He was in poor condition, thin and with torn clothes, as if someone had beaten him badly.

The girl ran and hugged the man and started crying. She had recognized that the person was none other than her father. Her father was also crying out of joy of meeting his daughter.

After that both of them started talking to each other. Then the father started telling his daughter that the army in front had taken them captive. He was beaten a lot and somehow managed to escape and returned home.

While the father and daughter were meeting, a postman came to the door with a letter in his hand. The postman said, “Sorry, the roads were closed due to the war, so the letter arrived late.”

In the postman's hand was the same letter which the daughter had given to her father while leaving. And while going to war, father had written to the postman that it is not possible to forgive, I used to lie to encourage you.

When the letter came into the father's hand, he became very emotional and thought, what has my daughter written in it?

When she opened and read the letter, her tears were unstoppable because it was written in the letter, “O God, please send my father back home safely from the war.”

So friends, from this story we get to learn that a father gave hope to his daughter to encourage her, even if that hope was false but the girl's faith became true. Similarly, you should give hope to your child or every person who is completely defeated, who is broken from inside. You should give hope to such people and if you yourself are broken then do not lose hope like that girl because there may or may not be someone above that mountain but there is definitely someone above us.
