Himoru Mansion

Good evening, dear followers of the Karasakal Horror Club. Tonight, I will share with you a chilling tale from Japanese culture.
According to urban legend, it is one of the most haunted places in all of Japan, just beyond the city of Tokyo.
The exact location of Himuro Mansion (or Himikyru Mansion, as it is sometimes known) is unknown, but legend places the mansion in a rocky area just beyond Tokyo city limits.
It is said that for generations, the Himuro family participated in a strange, twisted Shinto ritual known as the "Ritual of Drowning" every half-century to seal the evil karma within the Earth.
The Himuro family is said to practice ancient, forgotten Shinto rituals that have long been banned in Japan. One of these secret rituals was called the "Suffocation Ritual," and it involved a murder in which a young girl was sacrificed. The purpose of this gruesome ritual was to protect the Himuro family from the evil karma they believed came from a portal in the mansion's courtyard.
To avoid this, a girl is chosen at birth by the lord of the house and isolated from the outside world to prevent any connection to the outside world. This was crucial for the ritual to work.
A strangulation ritual was performed every fifty years. In the family, a baby girl was chosen, who was secretly raised in the mansion. This girl was called the Virgin of the Rope Temple. The girl was not allowed into the world (walking around), she lived in complete isolation; otherwise, the ritual would not work.
On the day of the Drowning Ritual, the girl was tied with ropes around her ankles, wrists, and neck.
Ropes were tied to ox or horse teams, and their limbs were cut off and divided into four.
The strings used to bind her limbs were then dipped in her blood and laid at the entrance to the portal. Blood was poured into that well, which was said to be the portal in the courtyard.
They believed this would close the portal for another half-century until the ritual had to be repeated.
This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation in the Himuro family.
However, while preparing for the final ritual, something went wrong. The Virgin of Rope fell in love with a boy who was trying to save her. This was a real disaster because she had to be pure and free from worldly influence.
She created both a physical and a psychic "link" with this Earth, staining her blood and soul, and the ritual failed.
Upon learning that the girl was in love, the head of the Himuro family went crazy. He was responsible for the success of the ritual. Now, he fell into indescribable anger, fearing that all the misfortunes would fall on the family. Taking his katana, he brutally murdered the entire Himuro family and cut all his family members with a traditional Japanese katana sword. The head of the family believed that by killing them, he saved them from a more gruesome death. When all his family members were killed, he fell on the katana and committed suicide.
After this incident, completely inexplicable events began to happen in the mansion. Events affecting the mansion and its surroundings, even neighboring villages.
Locals from the neighboring village had remained silent about the Himuro mansion and everything that had happened there for decades. But after that massacre, everyone started talking and telling about the strange events that took place in the mansion.
Inside the mansion, all the walls were covered with bloody handprints. Ghosts have been seen here both at night and in daylight. Legend has it that they will attempt to repeat their rituals with the ghosts of murdered members of the Himuro family and those unsuccessful enough to dare to enter an abandoned building.
From time to time, the corpses of people who dared to go there are found in the mansion. Their arms, legs, and neck have a typical rope mark, as if they had been strangled. Several bodies were found in an underground tunnel network under the mansion. The corpses were literally cut into several pieces. No one knows who made these tunnels and what purpose they served, but apparently, they were made to practice the Ritual of Strangulation.
The mansion also has a notorious window. They say that if you take a photo of this window, a ghostly image of a young girl in a kimono will appear in the photo.
These events caused panic among the people in Tokyo, and many believe that anyone who approaches this mansion will be damned. The mystery of the death of the seven people in this building has not yet been revealed.
The urban legend of the Himuro mansion became popular in the west. The story of the haunted house has become very fashionable. If the legend is true, the Himuro mansion is definitely the most cursed building in Japan.
