If you attend an event where the speaker is talking about self investment, improvement, development, give it a name and you don't find me there, then you're at the wrong event😂

One of the best rewards anyone could give to themselves is self-investment.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word "Investment"?

Early last year, I was opportuned to attend an event where the speaker talked about "Self Investment". One of the questions the speaker asked during the event made me reflect for a while.

This was the question, "What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word INVESTMENT"? I'd be honest, the first thing I thought of was business and money.

People gave their different opinions of what investments meant to them and how it could help them. The speaker asked another question, this time it was " What does self investment mean to you"? I became blank, that question made me reflect for a while.

While I was reflecting, people shared their opinions. Then the speaker said Investments could mean different things to different people but self investment is what one does or the work one puts in to see themselves grow.

There are various areas you could invest in as an individual. It could be your spiritual life, health, academics, business, relationship with people, finances, social life, there are just so many. Some people even invest in their wardrobe, which is amazing and I find very interesting. To me self investments means a whole lot, I'd share it some other time.

I hear most people say I've invested alot but I haven't seen result. Now be sure you're investing properly and wisely in whatever you're investing in. You didn't graduate from high school in 2 days. For most people, the process might take time and for some, it happens in a short time but be sure you're investing properly and wisely.

Whatever self investments means to you, please invest in it. If you're so passionate about reading, you'd definitely invest in books right? Or even want to own a library. Please whatever you want to invest in and believe you'll grow during the process and also see results, please invest in it.
