Mande Network Incentivize Testnet

The Mande Network aims to empower people’s potential using Web3 technologies. Inspired by the philosophy of “I am because you are,” it aims for success as people grow together.

Some features offered by the Mande Network include:

• Proof of Credibility SDK: Allows developers to integrate decentralized reputation systems into their DAPPs. This records user transactions to build reputation on-chain, provides trust scores with peer-to-peer voting, and allows proving web2 credentials in web3 using ZK proofs.
• DAO Attestations: Enables DAOs to issue rights and badges (SBTs).

The Mande Network is managed by advisors like Alani Kuye and Deepanshu Tripathi, and founding partners such as Pratik Agarwal and Sandeep M. The team is passionate about financial inclusion and human capital development and believes in transformative potentials for Africa.
The network’s primary goal is to enable DAPPs that invest in human capital, thereby making people investable based on their skills, talents, and credentials. The Mande Network supports innovative concepts like “Human IPOs,” which aim to create change in education and allow people to tokenize themselves based on their abilities, credentials, and credibility, and sell their personal tokens like company shares.

Therefore, the tokenomics of the Mande Network rewards users proportionally to the Trust score “CRED,” which is calculated based on “stakes” that users can collect from other network users.

The three-tiered use of the $MAND token and its functions within the ecosystem are as follows:

1. Staking for Delegates: $MAND tokens allow their holders to participate in governance decisions of the Mande RollApp (L2) by staking for delegates. Delegates bid on your behalf, propose changes, or influence the strategic direction of the project. Staking for delegates will bring staking rewards similar to DPoS L1 Cosmos chains.
2. Network Gas Fees: $MAND tokens are used to pay transaction fees within the network.
3. Trust Stakes: Users use $MAND tokens as ‘stakes’ to vote on the trustworthiness of other users. Using trust stakes, a user can increase another user’s reputation score (CRED) within the ecosystem by staking their $MAND.

Token Distribution Program: The Mande Network RollApp (L2) will have an initial supply of 20 Million $MAND. It will be allocated according to the following table:

• Initial Supply: The token supply will follow an inflationary schedule to provide rewards for Governance stakes, Trust (CRED) stakes, Ecosystem grants, and Team pool. Starting with 75% inflation, it will follow a halving schedule every two years. With an initial 20 million MAND tokens, the ecosystem will reach an asymptotic maximum supply of 170 million tokens within 20 years.

Newly Issued Tokens Will Be Distributed As Follows:

• Trust Stake Rewards: 30% of the tokens issued for each block will create a pool that will be distributed as rewards to users proportional to their CRED in the network. Rewards will be distributed to users through a DApp managed by the Mande foundation.
• Governance Stake Rewards: 30% of the tokens issued for each block will be distributed to MAND stakers who stake for the delegates of the Mande RollApp.
• Ecosystem Grants: 20% of the tokens issued for each block will be used to create a pool for ecosystem grants, which will be given as grants to teams developing DApps on the Mande Network.

Mande testnet is designed to enhance the network’s reliability and credibility, and it is used to gather significant feedback from the community, incentivize users who vote on the network, validators, trust granters, and those developing DApps on-chain.
The Mande Network’s Incentivized Testnet-2 includes the following features:

• Proof-of-Credibility (PoC) consensus mechanism: Rewards validators for demonstrating their credibility and punishes bad actors trying to sabotage the network.
• Support for Decentralised Identifiers (DiDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs), Soul Bound tokens (SBTs): Allows users to manage their decentralized identities and verifiable credentials.
• DAppS support: Enables developers to create new applications on the Mande Network.

The top 5000 addresses on the testnet leaderboard will receive the following Mainnet airdrops:

• Top 10: 2,000 $MAND each
• Top 11-25: 1,500 $MAND each
• Top 26-100: 750 $MAND each
• Top 100-1000: 100 $MAND each
• Top 1000-5000: 20 $MAND each

This testnet offers the opportunity to earn tokens worth 5% of the pre-genesis pool, which is a valuable reward for anyone interested in joining the Mande Network community. By participating in the testnet, you will help us identify any issues or bugs in the network and assist us in testing PoC, DiDs & VCs, SBTs, and DAppS.

After $MAND arrives in your wallet, you can perform the staking transaction on this page. The trick in staking is that the more people you stake, the more credibility score you can earn.
If you stake 1 $MAND on 1 account, you will earn 1 credibility score.
If you stake 4 $MAND on 1 account, you will earn 2 credibility scores.
If you stake 9 $MAND on 1 account, you will earn 3 credibility scores.
If you stake 16 $MAND on 1 account, you will earn 4 credibility points.
If you stake 25 $MAND on 1 account, you will earn 5 credibility points.
