Iftaar dinner: Invitation Accepted
Good Morning Bulb Family!
I hope and wish you all are doing well. I am also doing good though. I woke up very late today because last night I slept very late, and then I woke up again at sehri time because I had to fast. After praying, I went back to sleep and now I'm waking up. I'm just telling you all this to explain why I was late today and why I'm feeling so tired. Still my eyes are not opened yet.Image from Unsplash
You might have guessed the topic of today's blog from the title, but you might not know who invited me or where I went. So, to explain that, I'm going to write today's blog. If you're interested, you can continue reading, otherwise, you can simply react to this blog or share your updates in the comment section. It won't be a problem for me either way.
Another reason behind writing this article is that I simply wanted to preserve this beautiful memory for myself. In my opinion, transforming my emotions into the form of a blog is a wonderful way to keep them saved with me. Plus, the fun part is that it will also be beneficial. You know what I mean, right?
Invitation from an old friend
Yesterday, when I finished writing my blog and was reading through all your articles and commenting, I received a message from an unknown number. I asked who it was, and they replied asking if I didn't recognize them. I told them that I didn't have their number saved, so it would be helpful if they could introduce themselves. But they kept insisting for a while that I should try to recognize them, but I failed to identify them. Finally, they introduced themselves, and I found out that they were my childhood friend with whom I hadn't talked or met for 7 or 8 years.

We weren't that close, but we studied together in the same class until the 10th grade, so we had many memories together because of that. Then when I asked the reason for the call, they suggested planning a meetup and invited me for dinner if I was free that day. Since I was free, I agreed, thinking it would be a good opportunity to refresh old memories and, of course, enjoy dinner together.
Dinner Time
He owns his own restaurant, so he invited me to come there. I started getting ready. In the evening, I called him to let him know that I was ready and would come if he was free. He replied that I should come, as he was free. Since his house wasn't far from mine, I reached his place in just 10 minutes. When I arrived, he was already waiting for me at the restaurant gate. It was such a beautiful feeling to see him after 8 years, and he had changed quite a lot. It's obvious that when I last saw him, he was just a kid, and now he had grown up so much. But his face hadn't changed at all. Then he welcomed me, and we went inside. As I entered, I saw two more old friends of mine sitting there. Seeing them made me very happy.
Then we sat down, reminisced about old memories, cracked jokes, and teased each other. Believe me, despite not meeting for so long, as soon as we started talking, it didn't feel like we hadn't seen each other for ages. It felt as if we met every day. In my opinion, this is the true essence of friendship, where even if you don't meet or stay in touch for a long time, there's still mutual respect and love for each other. What do you think?
Ending Thoughts

Anyway, then we had dinner. He had made excellent arrangements, and there was almost everything available for eating and drinking. We ate to our heart's content and then talked about everything in our lives until midnight.
Then, I sought permission from him, and I set off for home. That was the reason for my fatigue, but still, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and found a strange sense of peace by refreshing all my memories.
That's all for today. If you liked this blog, be sure to let me know in the comments. Also if you haven't read my previous blog yet then here is the link
