Living Today: The Importance Of Embracing The Present

There are some sudden events in our life which shake our existence. Such as tsunami, earthquake, flood, storm etc. Many people die in these tragedies. Every death ends a dream, someone's dream of becoming a big business man, someone's dream of becoming an officer. And before his death, perhaps those unfortunate people who died in the jaws of death would have been struggling to fulfill these dreams. But perhaps some lucky people or people who create their own destiny may also have been among those people who would have lived every moment in the present. What this means is that the moment we live is either for the preparation of the future or is related to the mistakes or activities of the past. There is nothing left in the name that can give happiness to that moment.

For example, in order to improve the tomorrow of children, we snatch their today. There is hardly any time left in their day to live today. In view of the increasing competition, we take away from them those things which make them happy or which can help them in living today! We are not even able to give them a chance to think about how they can survive in today. Live! Children's future becomes their present and somewhere their present which we call childhood gets lost.

This was a matter of children and now let us think about the soldiers, are they able to live their lives today? Their answer may also be no! When I was a child, I prepared for youth and lost my childhood. If you are young now then prepare for old age and losing your youth! In preparing for tomorrow we lose our today. I had prepared in my childhood that I would live today in my youth. The very reason for which I had prepared was lost, I got no time to eat, think or even understand. I ran away trying to improve my tomorrow and forgot this. Learn how to live your today well! Had I lived today, I would have become an ideal father, ideal husband and ideal son.

If we put the same question to old age, then their answer will be that they too have not been able to live their present. They are spending their old age thinking that if they had done this earlier, this would have happened. Old age is being spent in the haunting of this ghost.

But the question arises that should we remain in today only and not prepare for the needs of the future? Do it, of course, but before making those preparations, think that the day we are living today is also the result of some preparations, don't let it go waste. What did a father do if he did not see his child's childhood? What did he do if a child did not ask questions to his father? What did he do if a grandfather did not tell a story to his grandson? Take out some time today in these moments of life, your son, your wife, your father and your mother are waiting for you.
