Creating Passive Income
I was trying to come up with new ideas for my articles and realized I’ve never truly shared my story—how I began writing and creating videos. I’ve touched on it briefly in a previous article, but this time I want to delve deeper into how I got to where I am today and how I earn a bit of extra crypto on the side.
To be honest, I’m just an ordinary guy who recognized the potential of cryptocurrency, not just globally but for my personal benefit too. When I first discovered cryptocurrency and blockchain, I knew they would revolutionize the world. But back then, I was dead broke and desperate to get my hands on this digital gold.
I began my deep dive into crypto over a decade ago. Now, don’t let that fool you—I’m not rich. In fact, I probably should be, but I wasn’t in the right state of mind during my early earning days. I struggled with severe drug addiction (I’ve been clean for a little over four years now). Perhaps I’ll write a short story about my addiction someday, though it might end up being a full book. I experienced and did things I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
Back then, I didn’t store my secret phrases securely. I’d scribble them down and toss them into a drawer, not realizing the importance of keeping them safe. I learned the hard way to treat those keys like gold—only you should know their whereabouts. Long story short, someone stole my crypto and left just one XRP in my wallet as a final insult. I never found out who did it but I have a good feeling I know who it was. Sometimes your friends are not truly your friends.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve been gradually building my crypto empire. To be honest, I often feel like I have no idea what I’m doing—just going with the flow and hoping for the best. I genuinely appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my work. Without your support, none of this would be possible.
I only share platforms that I personally use and trust. Remember, none of this is financial advice, and I will never ask you to invest in anything. I simply share the platforms I’ve found to be reliable and free of red flags.
Earning Money Online is Becoming Easier
When I first started trying to earn, it was challenging to find good earning platforms. However, in the past couple of years, the number of ways to earn has skyrocketed, making it hard to keep track of them all. The sky's the limit these days, and if you're looking to start earning from crypto, now is the perfect time. There are already numerous ways to earn, and the opportunities are continually expanding. Below are some of my favorite methods to earn. Each one of these allow you to earn but the true passive part starts when you share these platforms. Some of them are semi passive but passive income starts when earning without doing much of anything happens. This is normally through sharing referrals. Some of these platforms are passive but the more you share you links the more the earning becomes passive.
Faucets
These days faucets are practically done for. There are a couple that are still working and safe to use but majority of them are not worth the time or are just plain unsafe to use. I still use a couple faucets to earn but in my opinion faucets are dead. Either way here are a couple I still use and why I still use them. I personally suggest staying away from the shortlinks. I have had problems with these pretty much on all faucet and earning websites. They tend to bring you to some questionable websites so be careful. You have been warned.
FaucetCrypto – This Faucet has been around for a while now and I have never had a problem with it. You can earn BTC, LTC, MATIC, RVN, and many other tokens. It is easy to use and fun to check in on every day.
Global Hive – Global Hive has been around for a couple years now. I have been using it for a while and you do not earn the most from it but it is a easy way to get your hands on some ZEC.
Cointiply - Cointiply is another earning website that has been around for a while now. It is a more well known website that allows you to earn BTC, LTC, DOGE, and DASH.
As you can tell there are not that many that I use and trust. It is crazy because faucets normally start off working great and paying but then over time they slowly show their true colors. You will start getting more pop ups and they will start paying less until eventually nothing at all. I used to use so many different faucets and PTC websites but as time goes on and Cryptocurrency grows these platforms see more profit in stealing personal information or wallets all together. When using any type of website like this I suggest only sending your earnings to a wallet you have created just to receive these earnings. The two websites I mentioned are the last of the Mohicans as they say.
Writing
This is a fairly new way to earn. Platforms that allow you to earn from your articles and videos are becoming more widely available. You can earn from writing, videos, music, and so much more. Here are my favorite platforms I use to share my creations.
BULB – BULB is a next level blogging platform. This platform runs on the Solana Blockchain and allows you to earn BULB from writing, reading, reacting, and moderating. It is a fast growing platform and the first of its kind on the Solana Blockchain.
PublishOX – PublishOX is a blogging platform that allows you to earn ETH and OP from writing and reacting. PublishOX is a pretty interesting platform. This website runs on donations and allows the readers to tip what they think is for to the creator. You can tip the creator anywhere from 10% all the way up to 100%. Whatever you do not tip the creator goes to the reader.
GdayFam – GdayFam is a blogging website that allows you to earn XRP from your articles and ideas.
Read.cash - Earn BCH from writing. Not much interaction on there but every once in a while, you earn some BCH. One of the first blogging platforms I have used.
Videos
Gleev - Gleev is a fairly new video platform that uses the DOT Blockchain. You can earn JOY tokens from posting videos. I do not know much about the platform just yet but I have earned a little. You can also share the videos you make on Gleev on Grill and earn extra. Keep reading to learn about Grill.
Rumble - To be honest I do not know much about Rumble. I know that it allows you to earn from you videos though. I will have to do more research on Rumble in the future.
Games
I truly believe blockchain is going to play a huge part in the evolution of gaming. Cryptocurrency games are popping up left and right these days and as time goes on these games are going to get better and better. Imagine a game like Roblox but instead of spending your money on digital items that you can only use in the game, you own your digital items and can sell them for real world money anytime you want. Imagine earning from the game just for playing. Well games like this are already out there and they are growing faster then you can say decentralized.
Ember - Ember is a platform that allows you to earn BTC through betting on different token prices, playing games, and clicking a mine button once a day. It is a fun way to gamble your BTC without having to actually send any Crypto. You earn it directly in the app through bets, games, and a bunch more. ZBD - ZBD uses the Bitcoin Lightning Network. It is a platform that allows you to earn from different games, social media, surveys, and a daily poll. It is one of the best ways I have found to earn Bitcoin using the Lighting Network. You can cash out easily and quickly to Cashapp or other Lightning Wallets.
Bitcoin Miner (ZBD) - Bitcoin Miner is one of the best games I have found to earn BTC using the Lightning Network. You can earn up to 500 SATS every day just by building a virtual mining farm. It is fun and kind of addicting to be honest.
Chainers - Chainers is a fairly new game and is growing daily. Right now it is free but in the future it will not be so take a second to check it out and get involved before they start charging. You earn free NFTs right now and free farming gear. In the near future you will be able to claim your NFTs and I hear there is a big Chainers metaverse planned for the future.
Pixels – Pixels is one of the best Blockchain games I have found. Now you are not going to earn much right off the bat but if you take some time to get to know the game and work on it a little every day your earnings will start to grow. This game uses the Ronin Blockchain and allows you to earn $PIXEL. This game is growing fast and allows you to build a little world inside of a huge pixel world. Decentraland - Decentraland is a metaverse full of worlds owned by people all over the world. You can play different games and earn free NFTs and Crypto. I have been having fun playing Decentraland every night and have earned a decent amount of NFTs just form playing. I am extremely excited to see what happens with this game in the years to come. The game is huge and I can see it becoming one of the biggest metaverse games in the world. Imagine playing a game like Roblox but actually truly owning every piece of clothing or gear you get in the game. Once people realize these games allow the players to own everything the earn in the game the gaming world will never be the same. I have noticed people do not like change so it is taking time for people to learn how all of this works.
Semi Passive/Passive
Uprock - UpRock is a pretty awesome platform. It is a platform that collects and anonymizes your data and pays you Cryptocurrency for it. The platform is still fairly new but I have high hopes for this platform. I plan on writing and creating a video about this platform in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
Nodle - Nodle is helping create the IoT (Internet of Things). It uses your phones Bluetooth technology to transmit data from things that normally can not without being connected to a internet connection. It is pretty mind blowing. if you want to learn more about this platform click the link and search through the website. I have earned a decent amount from this platform. I recently made a video titled "Nodle - Connecting the World Using the Polkadot Blockchain" explaining it a little more and how to withdraw and exchange your tokens.
Social Media
Social media is changing. Just over the past 10 years we have seen more social media platform popping up then we have ever seen. I remember back in the day we just had MySpace. I would love adding music to my profile. Things were easy back then. Then came Facebook and all of the other centralized platforms. I think social medias future lies in decentralization. I truly believe the platforms below are going to change the world forever.
Tangled - Tangled is a platform that pays you MLX for your attention. You can earn from multiple different ways such as social media, gaming, NFTs, the Tangled browser (Node = Passive), and much more. Tangled does not use a Blockchain. Tangled uses a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). This makes it so as the platform grows and the amount of people using MLX grows the faster transactions will get. It is pretty mind blowing. I created a video about Tangled called "Guide to Tangled". Some things have changed since I made this video but majority is still the same. I plan on making a follow up video in the future.
Torum - Torum is a decentralized social media platform that allows you to earn XTM. Torum uses the BNB Blockchain and you can earn every day from using the platform by doing the daily tasks which are daily login, post once a day, and like 5 posts. It is a cool platform that has a strong and supportive community. I plan on making a video and article about Torum in the coming weeks as well. I have so many platforms I want to create videos and articles for it is hard to keep track sometimes.
Grill - Grill is a social media platform that uses the Polkadot Blockchain. It allows you to earn SUB token every day from staking and staying active on the platform. You can earn from staking, commenting, and posting. I created a video about Grill recently titled "Grill - Igniting the Social Flame on Polkadot’s Blockchain".
Solcial - Solcial is a pretty cool platform that allows you to earn SLCL from staking and being active on the platform. When you stake SLCL you earn 20% APY from staking and then you earn an extra APY amount depending on the amount you are active on the platform. It is a pretty cool platform that allows you to earn pretty easy. The token price is not looking so hot but the platform is pretty cool and I think it is worth checking out.
I could talk endlessly about these platforms, but for now, let’s focus on the passive income aspect. Most of these platforms offer great ways to earn small amounts daily from your attention and time. However, the real potential for significant, passive earnings lies in platforms with a referral system.
I strongly recommend only sharing platforms you personally use and understand. I make every effort to thoroughly research everything I share, not just for myself but also for anyone who decides to sign up and use these platforms. My goal is to be a creator who genuinely helps others while also benefiting myself.
Sure, I could use AI to churn out article after article just to rack up likes, clicks, and shares, but that’s not my style. Don’t get me wrong—I think AI is an incredible tool. I use it daily to brainstorm ideas and explore various topics I’m researching. But there’s something uniquely fulfilling about creating content that truly helps people discover platforms that could potentially change the course of their lives.
The Future of Earning
The future of earning is going to be interesting and rewarding I think. As more platforms start using Blockchain technology and allowing people to earn from using their websites and platforms the more people are going to see how fun and profitable it will be to switch from the normal blood sucking social media and centralized platforms available today. This is just the beginning of the earning revolution and the platforms above are some of the best ones I could find so far.
Final Thoughts
Websites and platforms are allowing us to earn Cryptocurrency easy, fast, and without any middle man controlling our money. I used to want to play videos games or binge watch movies when I had free time but now I spend all of my free time learning about this technology, interacting with other Blockchain enthusiasts, and playing Blockchain games. I still get to enjoy everything I did before but now I earn from it.
These are only a few of the earning platforms out there. These platforms are growing and more are being created. Earning online has never been easier and Blockchain technology is changing the way we interact, earn, and own digital goods.
