In Greek , ‘museion’ meant a sanctuary (where something is kept and protected or given shelter) dedicated to the muses ( those that think about something carefully or thoroughly or to become absorbed in thoughts )and regarded as an institution of advanced learning in scientific and philosophical ideas. The muses were the 9 goddesses, daughters of the god Zeus , credited with an infinite memory in the art and sciences. Zeus was the husband of hera. The king of their gods.
