Shoulder Surfing - A Real Threat.

Today's world is more unsafer , unfair and untrustworthy that hard to live safely. Eagles are around to hunt anytime and Foxes are here to made us fool anywhere. Today's life demands Open eye living with proper precautions and self-care.

One of my friend lost huge amount by neglecting the safety measures on a online purchase. Where a scammer notes his bank credit card credentials without coming in notice and do Maximum shopping through that stolen credentials. My friend become a victim of surfing shoulder easily.

Shoulder Surfing.
Shoulder Surfing is to get the information about other's financial credentials from his back , by watching other's activity like input of credit card number, pin code, Bank ATM pin code , seed phrases of digital wallet etc. These information criminals use for fraud, robbery, cheating and misuse of financial tools.

Examples.
Here I want to add two examples about it ,
1 :
you are ordering anything online and giving details about payment method especially credit card. One of your colleague sitting beside or behind your cabin and watching your activity. Simple he can note all the information about your financial points.
2:
your are withdrawing any amount from your branchless account ( as it becoming routine) that representative of that outlets fill the data on device and ask for pincode. Lot of people frequently told them their transaction password without knowing it's drawbacks.

How we can stay safe ?
Here are some points to keep our assets safe and away from scammers and hackers.

• Always hide your pin code while taking amount from any ATM. Better to put a hand on keypad or stand very near to teller machine so no one be able to see your activity on ATM.
• Don't tell your pin code of branchless banking account to retailer. Take your device from him and input pincode securely.
• Don't use credit card credentials Infront of others. Check your surroundings before any action. If you are a office worker, better to choose wall back seat so no one will be able to see.
• Don't open unknown Emails and links it may are phishing emails which can harm your privacy.
• Don't reply any massages which are suspicious. Especially check the sender who is dragging you down.
• Don't, Don't ever give your seed phrases to anyone. In digital asset management seed phrases is key of your crypto empire.
• Don't order online from low quality service sites. If wants , use COD method for payments.
• Don't fill any form like Google forms, client Docs , Facebook monetisation or affiliation form with your sensitive information.
• Reject any call immediately if someone asking your financial linked information like a bank helpline, cell service providers and health insurance. Such type of calls are fake and scamming tool by culprits.

Conclusion :
Scamming circle going bigger and cleverness spreading. Fake ness on duality is common and trustworthy attitude is melting. Cheating, snatching and robbery is common. So need to be wise , active and Open eyed person to tackle the criminals. Shoulder Surfing is easiest task for criminal mind people , eliminate their Access to your financial information as much as you can do.
