In freelancing, individuals offer services based on their skills to clients.
The top websites for freelancing include

• Upwork
• Fiverr
• Freelancer.

One common question that arises is how to become a freelancer. There are several misconceptions surrounding this topic, with some thinking they can become a freelancer by watching a few YouTube tutorials. However, the reality is quite different. To become a freelancer, it typically takes at least a year of consistent effort to reach a basic level of proficiency in a particular skill.

The freelancing market is vast, with an average of 3.42 million buyers spending around 40 billion on freelancing services. In Pakistan alone, a single website can earn up to 40 trillion Rupees in a year, after deducting a small amount for service providers.

Future Trends

Looking ahead, with the rise of artificial intelligence, there's a looming concern about unemployment. Companies like Tesla are developing automated cars, and there's a growing trend towards smart everything, including stores. This shift emphasizes the increasing demand for tech skills in the future job market.

Educational Trends in Pakistan

In Pakistan, there's a concerning trend where people rely solely on YouTube for education. While YouTube tutorials can be informative, this approach often leads to a lack of professionalism and can result in individuals overcommitting or struggling with English language comprehension.

Roles of These Technologies in the Future of Freelancing

One of the most common examples we encounter in our daily lives is YouTube and social media platforms. When we visit specific pages, groups, or engage with certain videos, these platforms analyze our digital footprints. They observe our data patterns and start suggesting similar content to keep us engaged in a dopamine feedback loop. All of this is closely related to data science and artificial intelligence. Every day, these technologies work tirelessly with billions of people, tailoring content to individual preferences and behaviors.

Online Transactions via PayPal

As I was writing, I thought to share some thoughts on online transactions.

Firstly, let's understand what online transactions entail. It involves using our ID and password to buy or sell something online. Unfortunately, Pakistan does not currently operate using this method due to non-cooperation from three departments: PTA, PSEB, and PSA. They are not aligning to ensure security with platforms like PayPal.

In America, PayPal processes $118 billion through online transactions. This accounts for only 1% of America's total online transactions, which amount to $327 billion.

Benefits of PayPal Launching in Pakistan:

If PayPal were to launch in Pakistan, it would significantly benefit the country. With PayPal, we would be able to transact 24/7, facilitating easy buying and selling of goods and services.
