Hello friends, I tried to briefly explain Github, which software developers are very familiar with and use.
GitHub is a platform used for managing, sharing, and collaborating on software development projects. It is generally a web-based service where projects related to programming languages are stored. GitHub provides developers with features such as code storage, version control, issue tracking, collaboration, and many others.
You can create a project on GitHub and name it as a repository. A repository, or repo, contains your project files and code. Developers contributing to the project can clone the code from your repository to their computers, make changes, store these changes in their branches, and then send them back to the main branch through a pull request. This process facilitates collaboration and effective project management.
GitHub is also a social platform, allowing developers to discover, follow, star, and participate in various communities for other projects. Additionally, GitHub offers a variety of tools and features commonly used, such as issue tracking, wiki pages, project boards, and more.
GitHub has become a crucial platform for the sharing and development of open-source projects, hosting many large and small software projects.
