In addition to the Bitcoin reserve fund, Trump is said to have plans to create reserve funds for "American-Origin" tokens such as SOL, XRP, USDC to support the crypto industry in the United States.

As reported, President Donald Trump, after being sworn in on January 20, is expected to sign a number of executive orders supporting the cryptocurrency sector, including establishing a Bitcoin reserve fund, ending the "Operation Chokepoint 2.0" campaign, and nominating a number of pro-crypto officials to key positions.

Notably, the New York Post recently revealed another idea that could be issued by the Trump administration, which is the establishment of a strategic reserve fund that prioritizes "American-Origin" tokens such as Solana (SOL), USD Coin (USDC), and Ripple (XRP).

The idea has been controversial within Trump’s crypto advisory group, with some concerned that it would devalue Bitcoin, the currency they want to focus on.

Still, founders and investors say the disagreements should not overshadow the prospect of a “golden age” for the crypto industry under Trump.

Dennis Dinkelmeyer, CEO of crypto investment firm Midas, said he is considering expanding into the US after a four-year absence.

Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, said the Trump administration is preparing to consider specific regulations, including changes to accounting laws to make it easier to trade Bitcoin.

“This is a watershed moment — America is ready for a real crypto revolution,” said veteran Bitcoin investor Frank Chaparro.

This weekend, Trump’s nominee for White House Crypto and AI Policy Advisor David Sacks will host the first “Crypto Ball” in Washington, D.C., featuring representatives from major companies like Coinbase, Solana, MicroStrategy, Kraken, and Galaxy Digital.

Soon after the news, “American-origin” projects like Solana (SOL) and Ripple (XRP) rose, continuing their gains from earlier on January 16.
