So we're not supposed to comment on posts anymore?

It's disheartening to think that Bulb is already seeking to minimize the interactions the platform, but I can't help but wonder: are we not supposed to be leaving comments anymore?

Comments that are short or succinct can still be in good faith, and yet taking the time to leave a comment of support on posts is merely resulting in my Bulb account/the comments being reported as spam. It's wild to me that voicing a simple, "This was a great article and I learned a lot!" is considered spam when the majority of my comments are far more thoughtful. There are times when we aren't exhibiting excessive amounts of brain power but still want to show support, appreciation, and admiration for an article or author with a few short words of affirmation. Sure, it's not always the thought that counts, but marking comments as spam drains my want to spend time or energy on Bulb.

Part of the beauty of sites like Bulb is the ability to interact; sometimes that's done by leaving a simple comment and starting a conversation. Sometimes the article doesn't leave much to be said because it's covered so well, and we shouldn't be punishing users for interacting with one another unless they are copy/pasting the same comment, excessively commenting on an extraordinary amount of articles in a way that makes it clear the articles weren't read or perused.

The moderation team will do what they're going to do, but frankly, I don't see myself utilizing this platform as much as I wanted to as my genuine comments get flagged and fail appeal regardless. What's the point of interacting and connecting if we're merely getting punished for it?
