A brief summary:
AleoHQ
is a layer-1 blockchain that uses a new consensus algorithm to bake zero-knowledge proofs to enable both privacy and scalability.

AleoBFT is a novel consensus algorithm tailor-made for Aleo and based on Bullshark/Narwhal. BFT means "Byzantine Fault Tolerance" that is a consensus algorithm used in distributed systems to handle node failures and malicious attacks. Its goal is to ensure the security and availability of the system in the presence of node failures and malicious attacks.

The basic idea of the BFT consensus algorithm is to select a group of nodes to jointly maintain the system state. Before consensus can be reached among the nodes, all nodes must agree on the current state to ensure the correctness and security of the system.
