Cryptocurrency can be risky due to market volatility and lack of regulation. Use reputable platforms, avoid emotional trading, and only invest what you can afford to lose. Be cautious and remember, not your keys, not your crypto.

In previous articles, we’ve explored some crypto fundamentals and looked at where and how to download the Rosen app and bind your crypto wallet. Once you’ve gotten started though, you’ll need to explore some of the in-app features and getting started with the in-app gaming should be your first step. With the opportunity to earn monthly rewards based on your activity level and leaderboard position, it’s a great place to start. Let’s check it out.

In-App Games

Once you’re signed up and in the Rosen app, the first thing to do is follow the Investigator515 account so you’ll know where to find help if you need it. Once you’ve done that, we’ll start taking a look at some of the ways to earn bonuses. We’ll start with the free daily wheel spin.

Giving you the chance to earn bonus gems and coins, you’ll be given one free spin daily. If you want to try your luck more frequently than this then you can do so but you’ll need to mine energy to trade for the spins. The top prize on the wheel is 5000 coins, which can be cashed out in USDC should you be lucky enough to win.

The other gaming option allows you to connect with community members to compete for rewards. Using the rock, paper, scissors game, users can compete for either gems or coins that can then subsequently be cashed out for rewards.

It’s important to point out though that gaming is simply a fun perk that comes from being a part of the Rosen community. Because of this, you’ll find that while you can have multiple games, there is a daily use cap on how many rounds you can play. In rock, paper, scissors for instance, you can play up to five times in any 24-hour period.

Monthly Rewards

Like many activities in crypto, consistency is king and you’ll find that the Rosen app is no different. While you can check in and mine energy occasionally, those who do so regularly will find that they substantially increase their chances of gaining rewards.

While you can win the top prize on the daily wheel, you’ve probably got a far greater chance of obtaining an activity-based ranking by being consistent with your activity levels. So, with that said let’s have a look and see what you’ll need to do to potentially walk away with some stablecoin rewards.

Avatar M2E

To mean energy by mining, you’ll need to have an avatar and while usually these would be purchased, the Rosen team is running a giveaway to help increase activity levels and onboard newcomers. So, to earn a free avatar simply post about Rosen on your socials, tag the team in your post and they’ll airdrop you a free 60-day avatar to help you get started mining energy.

Once you’ve got your avatar, you’ll need to mine energy. Your leaderboard ranking (and subsequent rewards) will be based on the activity levels of your avatar, including how much energy you’ve been able to mine. A better Avatar means you’ll mine more energy and finish with a stronger leaderboard position.

Speaking of which, it’s this leaderboard position that’ll help you take out the stablecoin rewards. The top three positions will receive 1000 coins (10usd) while positions 4–20 will receive 500 coins (5usd). It’s that easy. Simply ensure your Avatar is mining regularly and you’re in with a shot at the rewards.

Rock Paper Scissors Rewards

The second opportunity to earn monthly rewards comes with the RPS game, however, there are a few additional points that need covering with this. While the game is capped at 5x per day per user, this is per game mode. So you can play 5x with coins and 5x with gems. Both of these will be used to calculate your ranking. This mode will pay out the first ten positions on the leaderboard on a sliding scale, with the top position earning 2000 coins (20usd), 2 & 3 earning 1000 coins (10usd) and 4–10 earning 500 coins (5usd).

Solana Breakpoint

At the moment, the Rosen app is still in its beta phase meaning that updates and revisions are regularly being developed by the time. And while most apps in beta tend to come with their fair share of issues, the reality is that Rosen in its current state is smooth, usable and sporting plenty of features to help keep the community engaged.

If you’re lucky enough to be heading to Solana’s Breakpoint conference, keep an eye out for the team as they’ll be there. You’ll even find founder Stella Zheng giving a talk at Breakpoint covering the Rosen app in more detail.

If you can’t make the conference though, stress not, as you can still mint a commemorative Breakpoint NFT inside the Rosen app.
