Introducing UFC wrestling king Khabib Nurmagomedov. Maybe his name is hard to pronounce, but after the fight against Conor McGregor, his name suddenly became familiar to his ears. The match against McGregor is not just any match. This is an important stepping stone in Khabib's career while at UFC, as well as the match he has been waiting for since 2016. On his 26th undefeated streak, Khabib won the UFC lightweight championship belt after beating Ai Laquinta, April 7 2018.
Like his nickname The Eagle, Khabib hunted for the UFC championship belt like an eagle hunts a chicken. The peak of his career was when he managed to beat McGregor in the UFC's biggest match. After this, Khabib's name soared even more in the world, especially with the addition of the incident of Khabib jumping over the octagon fence. Practice Against Bears Khabib Nurmagomedov was born on September 20, 1988 in the village of Sildi, Tsumandinsky District, Dagestan, Russia. Then in 2001 the family moved to the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala. Since the age of 12 he has been trained in martial arts under the tutelage of his father.
His father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, is a famous wrestler and retired soldier. In the military, Abdulmanap also taught self-defense. In his father's training, little Khabib was trained with a special method: grappling against bears. This is not a figure of speech. At the age of 9 years, Khabib wrestled against the family's pet bear. Even though the bear was still small, it was a bear. His body is bigger than Khabib.
There is a video dated September 23 1997 which shows little Khabib wrestling while being watched by several trainers. Khabib gasped a bit and tried hard to knock the bear down. The bear didn't want to lose, he repeatedly made Khabib fall. Abdulmanap argued that the training brought out the best in the child, an effort to overcome fear when facing something stronger. “In the end, it was a test of character rather than physical training,” Abdulmanap said. After successfully fighting the bear, Khabib has nothing to fear anymore when he gets older and gets stronger. After going through various martial arts training programs, Khabib finally chose the professional free fighting route. In 2008 he made his debut. In every fight he goes through, victory always accompanies Khabib. He is dominant compared to his opponents. What else can be expected from someone who as a child wrestled with a bear? At the start of his career before entering the UFC, he fought 16 times and won all of them. The UFC was then interested in calling him up at the end of 2011. At UFC he continued his streak of perfect records, until now Khabib has recorded 27 fights without being defeated once.
