One chance to change the world
The mission at Solcial is broad. Yes, they are aware that this is what most businesses claim, but creating a new social network requires a significant mission. A social network can only be active and profitable if it attracts large numbers of frequent visitors. Even though this number of users may not have been present at first, they are essential in the long run. Let's discuss how we see the future developing and why solcial believe we only have one chance to make a difference in the world.
The concept for Solcial initially emerged in the summer of 2021. The issue was obvious: modern social networks are bad. They used to be cool, but have since been corrupted by what can best be described as a centralized authority that believes it knows what is best for the users. They accept the profit, keep quiet as they please, and answer nobody! As a team, we believed there ought to be another option.
Our experience with cryptocurrency also convinced us that using blockchain technology will eventually be the answer to the problem of the present social networks. They came to the conclusion that the best way to achieve this was to permit creators to monetize in the form of their user token. Some thought this could be done by implementing a system where posts could cost some money and be on the blockchain. Others wanted people to have to pay to join. The site would then make money via trade fees, but more crucially, people could still communicate for free because there was now a chance for users and producers to collaborate on income. They also saw the coming of the answer for the existing social networks thanks to our knowledge in crypto around the use of blockchain technology in some way. The site would then make money via trade fees, but more crucially, people could still communicate for free because there was now a chance for users and producers to collaborate on income.
In order to create a new, Web3-based alternative social network, we therefore started what has since proven to be a mad trip.
Many have and still do question whether it will be possible to overthrow the current Web2 social media monopolies. They control the platform, have access to billions of cash, and have users. However, we reasoned that how would we know it was impossible if we didn't try?
The key goal throughout the first few months was to set up the necessary tools to actually develop this product. After putting together a team and raising money from investors, a community needs to be established. With all three of these, we were extremely fortunate.
The process of developing the platform, creating the user interface, and putting many of our ambitious features into practice followed. It is simple to attempt and make sacrifices and compromises in order to provide a product in a matter of months, but we just couldn't do that.
Therefore, despite the many challenges solcial have faced, they have always developed with the understanding that this is our one and only chance.
The history of social networks reveals that many of them failed as a result of a few common mistakes. First of all, they weren't prepared to accept the majority. In essence, they attracted a modest following but lacked "addictiveness" and had few features. Users must have a desire to return, refer their friends, and add content at this point when they first sign up for the site.
When Solcial first began, we were aware that this would be our largest obstacle. With so many rivals, we must provide new users with a better experience. The objective is for them to return daily and for this behavior to become ingrained in them. If people simply join, look around, then depart rather than going back to the platform, we can. virtually assure our failure. This cannot take place.
Think of being at a party. You're the kind of person who arrives early, before all the "cool people" do. Now, there is no way you will invite your other pals to this party if it is not enjoyable, cool, or fascinating. In fact, it's likely that you'll leave for another party. Consider launching a new social network as throwing a gathering.
They insisted on a delayed rollout that is based on testers and our core community because of this. Too many platforms have been sloppily introduced and failed, making them appear interesting at first but turning out to be nothing more than empty promises and hoopla.
On the other side, Solcial is committed to creating such that we don't just promise to make a difference in the world-we actually do. Since we only have one chance to alter the course of history, we are aware of this. Do you wish to modify it with us, we ask you now?
