In his works, Kiyosaki champions the importance of financial education, financial freedom, and the cashflow quadrant, which classifies people by how they earn their income.
However, Kiyosaki has also generated controversy for his views on the US economy, which he has called "broken" and "bankrupt". According to him, the country is experiencing an unprecedented crisis, caused by excessive public indebtedness, unbacked printing of money, galloping inflation, problems in global supply chains and a lack of labor.

However, the United States is the world's leading economy by volume of GDP and has a mixed-type capitalist economy, which combines free enterprise with state intervention. The country is a leader in sectors such as technology, industry, services and agriculture. However, it also has great social, environmental and racial inequalities that affect its internal cohesion and its external projection.
In an interview with RT Kiyosaki stated that the United States is "bankrupt" and that the government is lying about the economic recovery.
