Taiko Katla Testnet Guide

We are entering the Katla Testnet (Alpha-6) operations, which the Taiko team has stated as "important".


Transactions will be between Holesky <> Katla #testnet networks;

• To get test $ETH on the Holesky testnet network, paste the wallet and start digging, when the reward accumulates, withdraw it to the wallet with claim:

• We connect an MM wallet to the link https://bridge.katla.taiko.xyz/faucet. Holesky and Katla testnet networks will be added automatically, confirm permissions on the wallet.
• Select the "HORSE" token from the list and complete the transaction with the mint button.

• We bridge some ETH by switching to the "Bridge" (https://bridge.katla.taiko.xyz) tab. Don't forget to bridge both $ETH and $HORSE between Holesky >> Katla. Likewise, perform the operations using Fold >> Holesky.

• With Katla/Holesky test network integrations, we will mint NFTs on the network and perform an "NFT bridge" transaction from the NFT tab at the top. You can interact with the testnet network through different projects by monitoring the ecosystem.

Little Note:

We will claim the bridged tokens on https://bridge.katla.taiko.xyz/transactions page. Since there is no test $ETH in the Katla network at the moment, we cannot claim it. Let detailed announcements come, we will handle this part, keep it in mind.
