Within my family, a tapestry of souls,
There are times when conflict, like a storm, it rolls.
Their choices, their actions, a puzzle to solve,
A dissonance whispers, a love that can't evolve.
I struggle to understand, to bridge the vast divide,
Their thoughts and beliefs, where my own can't reside.
It's a heavy burden, this love that I bear,
To comprehend, to accept, and to always care.
Though their presence is constant, a comfort so deep,
They don't always grasp the emotions I keep.
But they understand some of my pain, it's true,
And for that, I am grateful, for their love shines through.
For we can't be together, forever entwined,
And the conflicts we've faced, have lessons defined.
The importance of independence, a truth I must face,
To stand on my own two feet, to find my own space.
It's a journey of self-discovery, a path to explore,
To find my own voice, and my own way to soar.
Though sometimes we clash, and our differences show,
This family, my family, is a love I must know.
