Like-minded Hiveians move in similar circles and tend to support one another generally. This is community life, and being an ecosystem of communities, Hive can facilitate and empower multiple communities. From finance to travel, there’s a community for you and if not, you can create one.
This is the beauty of decentralized, censorship-resistant blockchains like Hive. It’s digital land and costs next to nothing to own. However, once you start building a brand, it becomes valuable, and even powerful regarding its ability to generate income and yield. The building blocks of WEB3 SocialFi platforms like Hive are quality content, engagement, presentation, and consistency. These are the four pillars required to establish and sustain a quality handle in the Hive ecosystem.
Influence Determines Scope
In the real world, the size of the land you own is determined by the money you can spend. It’s different in WEB3, particularly, Hive. The extent of your digital real estate is measured by how far your influence and contributions extend within the ecosystem. In other words, everyone starts with the same allotment. However, as each individual begins to work and operate within the confines of their digital land, it expands, relative to the abovementioned “building blocks” or pillars.
Essentially, the sky is the limit. On the other hand, it’s a difficult task, as everyone is hoping for a similar outcome. This is where newcomers are unable to see the bigger picture, and OGs why newcomers are unable to stick with it and progress over time. I am going to sound like a broken record. However, understanding relativity ratios regarding growth, expansion, and influence within the ecosystem is paramount.
Working towards and understanding this dynamic reveals how Hive is inherently designed to empower. Concerning alternative WEB3 platforms, many are capped, regarding how far you can build out, and, ultimately earn. The Hive model is limitless. So, what’s the catch? The only catch is it’s difficult to gain traction. As @cryptoandcoffee commented in one of my more recent articles:

Yes, it’s amazing what can be achieved when you give an account time to grow. Many don’t realize the years it takes, but once you reach a certain point growth takes off due to compounding.

People seek immediate results, without the patience and determination required to build something of value and significance. I have often wished I had more time to dedicate to Hive. I say this because I get it, I understand the potential and how with time and effort potential can become a reality. After all, Hive is full of real-life examples that attest to what is possible, given the right approach.

Expansion regarding your brand and influence is more easily acquired when adoption levels are still modest. Once Hive and other layer 2s begin booming, gaining traction will become even more difficult. Envision the future, count the cost, and begin building for tomorrow.
