A Superior User Experience
WEB3 is such a pivotal development, especially within SoFi and DeFi. As mentioned, DeFi and WEB3 are synonymous, DeFi is merely an expression of WEB3 technology. DeFi could not exist without WEB3, at least not in the capacity we currently experience and enjoy. WEB3 changes the game on key levels and provides various benefits that are impossible in WEB2. The starting point of WEB3 is an improved user experience. However, it doesn’t stop there!
WEB3 preserves ownership and copyright, especially for content creators. The individual owns the content and it can be published anywhere they choose. WEB2 models punish and restrict such behavior. This is quite laughable when you consider that artists can sell copies of their work worldwide and musicians can have their songs played on numerous radio stations, and other more modern alternatives such as Spotify.
Ownership is an important aspect of any creator or artist. I know because art is another area of my life. I have been an artist since childhood and have sold artworks to various art lovers across the globe. Ownership and control are integral aspects of artistic progress. Removing them would be the equivalent of removing dignity. It must be preserved and held in high regard.
Monetization & Reward Structures
WEB3 functions as an expression of decentralization and in some cases, censorship resistance. Many “WEB3” platforms still operate under a WEB2 mindset of control and limitation. In other words, a user can access the platform via a WEB3 signature. However, once inside they discover it is a traditional WEB2 platform that has deceived users by providing a WEB3 doorway.
Not all WEB3 platforms and protocols are created equal. There are varying degrees of decentralization and control, encouraging WEB3 users to evaluate the protocols they engage with. However, reward structures are a key feature of most WEB3 platforms and are utilized as an onboarding strategy. These occur in various forms and even in unexpected scenarios.
For example, if you are an existing user of Solana’s Phantom wallet and an Ethereum-based wallet such as Metamask you would have qualified for the recent Pudgy Penguins airdrop. By using the wallet and conducting everyday transactions you qualified and were eligible to receive an airdrop. A similar and unexpected scenario of the previous cycle was with Uniswap and the UNI airdrop.

We recently experienced many other airdrops such as Jupiter’s JUP and WEN. All of these airdrops occur based on participation. Many who qualified were taken completely by surprise. This is yet another reason to love WEB3. The incentivization within this technological shift is a powerful motivator. Furthermore, the opportunities are on the rise!
WEB3 is in its formative stages and much experimentation and discovery is occurring. The incentivization and rewarding of early and ongoing adopters is now an established practice. This, along with many other benefits, makes WEB3 an obvious direction for any person generating online income in one way or another. DePIN is another amazing opportunity within the WEB3 realm.

Final Thoughts
WEB3 is an exciting realm with so much to offer. However, only those who harness and expose themselves to what’s on offer get to eat the fruit. One of the best ways to get started is to create an INLEO account on the Hive blockchain and earn tokens for your Facebook-like posts and interactions. All the best, see you next time!
