Neptune Testnet Attracts Unexpected User Engagement — Mainnet Launch Imminent

We have blown through 12,000 unique wallets creating over 365,000 transactions in our first 50 days on the Injective testnet. The response to our early beta has been nothing short of inspiring. The feedback received will continue to shape the protocol as we enter mainnet.

The results

In our first month we had over 8,000 users participate in our early access campaign where a Galxe whitelist quest was required to gain access. The Neptune protocol is now open to everyone with Keplr and Metamask wallets and since removing the whitelist requirement, we have seen the number of wallets and transactions soar.

Our Discord has filled up with over 16,000 members with 150+ detailed comments in our beta-feedback channel with constructive suggestions and an almost entirely positive user experience.

Leaderboard scores

The leaderboard was created as a way to teach users how Neptune works and the functions it enables. Many are still pouring in to rank up and we’re getting many questions about what leaderboard points mean and whether its worth competing.
We intend to acknowledge everyone on the leaderboard who proved they understand the protocol. The very top users may receive something special but that does not mean active users accruing points should be discouraged. All users with points on the leaderboard before mainnet will be considered for exclusive perks and rewards.

Mainnet launch

We are prepared to deploy on mainnet shortly after our audit with Oak Security is complete. Stay tuned that upcoming announcement.
