More useful blockchain analysis tools.

In a recent article we spoke about using Arkham, an crypto intelligence platform using it’s own token. We mentioned how it, and other tools could be used to track whale wallets and other interesting transactions on various blockchains. In today’s article, we’ll be looking at some more tools and giving out some interesting wallets to keep track of.

Why do we need them:
Believe it or not, despite the hype of many blockchains as being privacy focused the reality is that many are open by design, allowing easy processing of data for those willing to look for it. Because of it’s open source nature, and the free accessibility of these tools, exploring these websites can be considered to be a form of open source intelligence or OSINT. With crypto also having nefarious uses, these tools become essential in following transactions, currency flows and patterns.
Lets look at some useful tools that anyone can check.

Arkham Intelligence
In case you missed our earlier article, the first stop is Arkham Intelligence. We’ll keep details on this brief as we wrote on it already previously. Suffice to say, it’s an extremely useful tool particularly if you’re a beginner. It’s also worth pursuing if you’re an airdrop hunter as rumours persist of a second airdrop of ARKM tokens.
Use our referal link to join Arkham here.

Etherscan.Io
Focusing on the Ethereum blockchain, Etherscan.io is simple to use and easy to access. As well as tracking transaction information you can look at NFT’s, as well as creating an account to more closely track wallets of interest. There’s also a well equipped developers hub with additional tools for those who wish to dig a little deeper.

Etherscan.io

Dogechain.info
Focusing on the worlds favorite meme coin, Dogechain is similar to Etherscan however it sports a much simpler user interface. While you’re still able to access an API you won’t require an account to get started.
Dogechain is also somewhat unique as it also provides an analysis tool for the Bitcoin blockchain as well.
Take a look for yourself here.

Solscan.io
When it comes to Solana there is several useful tools, include the official Solana blockchain explorer. However we prefer to use solscan.io
With an intuitive user interface, analytics and the ability to track DeFi, it’s a fast effective tool for those wanting to take a closer look at Solana.
You can check out solscan via this link

Blockstream Explorer
It’s impossible to nominate exploration tools without focusing on the OG blockchain, Bitcoin. While we mentioned that Dogechain had a BTC explorer, our preferred tool in this instance is the Blockstream Explorer website. Focusing on both main and testnet and with apps and software available for basically any platform you care to think of, it’s an effective tool that’s also able to be used in a limited capactity on the go. Find it via this link

Wallets of Interest & Debank
We’d be terrible educators if we provided links and didn’t give you some wallets of interest. So here’s some whale wallets for you to look at while you’re exploring your new arsenal of investigative tools along with one of the best whale tracking tools, Debank.

Debank is a web3 portfolio tracking tool. There’s a brilliant article on it here, but if you’re specifically looking to track whale wallets rather than single transactions then this is the place where you’re going to want to end up. Here’s a good medium write up on using debank.
