The joint attacks of the United States and the United Kingdom are aimed at destroying the military capabilities of the Houthis and creating deterrence against the attacks of this Islamic regime of Iran-backed group on shipping in international waterways.

The media affiliated with the Houthi militia group in Yemen announced on Monday March 28 that the United States of America and the United Kingdom, in the latest wave of their joint airstrikes, bombarded the two areas of "Al-Fazah" in Al-Tahita and "Al-Jabbana" in Al-Hodeida by carrying out 6 airstrikes.

The "Al-Masira" TV channel affiliated with the Houthi militia group in Yemen announced on Monday about 6 joint airstrikes by the United States and the United Kingdom on the two areas of "Al-Fazeh" in Al-Tahita and "Al-Jabbana" in Al-Hudaydah province in the west of Yemen.

The joint attacks of the United States and the United Kingdom are carried out with the aim of destroying the military capabilities of the Houthis and creating deterrence against the attacks of this group supported by Islamic regime of Iran.

The drone and missile attacks of the Houthis, which began late last year with the claim of supporting Gaza against Israel's war and with Islamic regime of Iran's weapons and intelligence support against commercial shipping in international waterways, including in the Red Sea, the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb, and the Gulf of Aden, have caused The damage to the globalized trade and economy has made sea transportation difficult and expensive and has affected the cost of goods in the world.

In addition to being an important international waterway for shipping and the passage of goods and world trade, the Red Sea is also the route of Internet communication cables between the Middle East, Africa and Europe, and 99% of data exchange between continents is carried out through it.

In the shadow of the continued threats of the Houthis and the expansion of their attacks, which have led to the sinking of a number of ships, the risk of damage to the internet cables in this waterway has also increased.

Following the threats of the Houthis, Abdul Malik Houthi, the leader of this militant group, threatened last Thursday that the drone and missile attacks of the Houthis against shipping will intensify and expand, and will also include ships traveling from the Indian Ocean to the Cape of Good Hope.
