The Job Seeker
In Nigeria's realm, where dreams take flight,
A seeker treads through day and night.
In quest of knowledge, he roams the land,
With hopes of a future, grand and grand.
Through bustling streets and silent halls,
He seeks the wisdom that calls and calls.
From village schools to city towers,
His quest for learning knows no hours.
With books as friends and pens as guides,
He journeys on, through changing tides.
For education holds the key,
To unlock the future, wild and free.
Yet in the present, he finds his plight,
In a land where darkness veils the light.
For though he's learned, with knowledge wide,
Opportunities scarce, he must abide.
He wanders streets with CV in hand,
Seeking work in a barren land.
Where jobs are scarce and hopes grow dim,
He fights despair, though chances slim.
But still, he dreams of brighter days,
Of a future bathed in golden rays.
Years ahead, a haze from now,
He gazes forth, with furrowed brow.
Yet in his heart, a flame still burns,
A fire that neither fades nor turns.
For in Nigeria's soul, resilience reigns,
And through the struggle, hope sustains.
So onward he strides, with head held high,
Beneath the vast and endless sky.
For though the path may twist and bend,
He knows his journey has no end.
In Nigeria's realm, where dreams take flight,
The seeker presses on with all his might.
For in the past, the present, and the years ahead,
He knows that hope is never dead.
