Asus ProArt Display PA278CV Review
I'm CinnamonChuck, I've been using this monitor lately. As a pixel artist, Asus' ProArt Display is one of the best design-based products I've used. Everything on the monitor has been carefully designed according to a designer's needs, what his eye will look for on the screen.
Until I used this ProArt Display, I believed that equipment quality was not an element that affected the design process much when making a design. When I put the pixel art I drew using this monitor side by side with the ones I drew before on a different monitor, I can clearly see the difference in my use of colors. The monitor allows me to see colors in their clearest and most vibrant form. I was incredibly surprised to be able to see the impact and difference this made so clearly. It allows more accurate and better color selection. This was the feature that I liked most and found indispensable for me. It already has a certificate for color accuracy.
By the way, the working areas on the screen are wider, so it creates a great feeling of freedom. The work menus you use do not take up too much space on the screen and do not narrow the space, as on other monitors. PA278CV offers a 77% wider image area. It has a resolution of 2560×1440. It crowns this with a stylish frameless design.
It also provides great comfort for people who do art as a job or hobby and have to look at the screen for hours. ASUS Flicker-Free technology reduces the amount of flicker on the screen, reducing eye fatigue and headaches that occur when you spend long hours in front of the monitor, and offers a more comfortable viewing experience and working environment. Also, thanks to the Ultra-low blue light feature, my eyes burn and get tired less. I can work longer hours without discomfort.
Asus ProArt Display can be easily tilted left and right, can be easily turned around and its height can also be adjusted. This means that your monitor takes shape not according to the design you make, but according to the design you make and the way you use it. It does a great job not only on the design side but also on the gaming side. Games look incredibly clear and crisp, thanks to exceptional color accuracy and contrast. Playing games becomes more enjoyable when this visual beauty accompanies you. I can say that the only thing missing in this regard is 75hz. But if you don't play competitive games very often, it won't bother you. I did not feel any discomfort.
