Hello BULBers, It’s Month in Review Time!
July 2023 has been a month of breakthrough and development…
We have been busy building and executing some of the features promised to the community, as well as aking into account your amazing feedback on our last monthly review to solidify our roadmap for the rest of the year. Now, it boils down to delivering on these milestones.
There’s a few things to unpack here… let’s get into it!
Latest BULB Features
Our latest feature, BULB AI, was released this month and the feedback from the community has been great so far! To recap, BULB AI, allows you to paraphrase passages of text, create the perfect attention grabbing headline, and develop SEO optimised article descriptions. If you haven’t already checked it out, we would encourage you to go write a blog and experience the magic for yourself!
BULB AI Feature
This lays the foundation for the BULB Team to continue expanding the functions of BULB AI.
The initial release focused solely on the writer experience but we are planning to utilise the BULB AI to enhance the reader experience as our next focus. So, if you have a good idea on how BULB AI can make your reading experience on BULB better, let us know!
New and Upcoming Features
Looking ahead, the next three big features are:
- Writer Tips (Aug 2023)
- Community Management Tool - ‘My Community’ (Aug 2023)
- Article NFTs (Aug/Sep 2023)
We studied your suggestions on BULB’s June Month in Review Blog carefully and we thought long and hard about how we could apply the product features to marketing. One of the very first things that we will execute immediately is Writer Tips, a feature that will enable any user to ‘tip BULB Tokens’ to a writer as a gesture of appreciation. In the future, we will look to expand the currencies that we support to beyond BULB Tokens, such as Solana.
Secondly, many writers have expressed the need for better community management tools on BULB, whether it is a newsletter subscription feature or data insights into who are your most active readers. In August, we will push out the first iteration of BULB’s community engagement tool, so that existing BULB writers can better create and nurture relationships with their readers. More details will be shared soon.
Last but not least, we are going to make Article NFTs available… very soon. As a Web3 blogging platform, we honestly could not believe we had to wait this long for the community to see Article NFTs come to life on BULB, but better late than never! This is one of the most challenging and interesting features we have ever built. So we don’t want to spoil too much, but rest assured, this is MUCH MUCH MORE than a stamp on the blockchain. BULB’s Article NFTs will have genuine use cases that are innovative, exciting and useful. We cannot wait to share with you more on this.

Latest Community Update
We are soon cracking the 2,000 BULBers mark… Woohoo!
To celebrate this, we would also like to share with you some never-seen-before metrics with the community.
BULB User Insights
As you can see on the chart above, BULB has been growing organically and very steadily since May 2022. Now since April 2023, which was our official launch, we have seen a pick up in momentum across both unique and active users. From the chart showing active users, we can see that BULB is hovering at ~80 per day. This means that there are 80 individual BULBers who login to BULB, write, read, comment or react to each other, and contribute to the BULB community on a daily basis.
We just want to say thank you so much for your support! BULB exists because of you. For the team, this is a huge motivational factor to continue pushing out features for you all.

As BULB continues to grow, we hope to make this selection process more community driven and decentralised. But with a gazillion other features going on, we will revisit this down the line. For now, if you want to become a certified writer, just keep writing great content and keep being yourself. We see everything and will reward you!
