Tepid

I clean my teeth, get dressed for bed, and change into a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. 
Normally, the fact that a stranger lives in the same apartment as me would make me anxious, but I have a sense I don't need to be concerned. 
Never would Jerry urge me to assist someone he thought posed a threat to my safety in any way. 
This baffles me because Jerry  asked me to bring Dan inside; if this is typical behavior for Dan. 
I accuse Luke of being the reason Jerry has never trusted a male around me. 
He was Jerry’s best friend and my first real boyfriend when I was fifteen. 
I was smitten with Luke when he was seventeen and I had a huge crush on him for months.
Luke would frequently spend the night with Jerry at our house on the weekends, and we always managed to find time for one another when he wasn't looking. Luke informed me he wanted to shoot a movie after several weekends of sneaking around.
