Terra (LUNA) Made an Exciting Announcement for NFT Projects: Here are the Details!
Terra (LUNA) made a significant announcement regarding immutable token (NFT) projects built on its network. The official announcement, released by the Terra X account, cautions about a new era for NFT projects launched on the Terra network. As stated in the announcement, cross-chain NFTs are coming to Cosmos, supported by the Ark Protocol, an inter-chain NFT platform. LUNA will also continue to benefit from this new InterChain NFT era.
This is because projects related to Terra NFT will have the opportunity to showcase their NFTs on multiple chains. The Ark Protocol will select collections per chain for its next phase.
Terra's CEO Chris Amani also drew attention to this significant announcement by publishing the same notice on Terra X, capturing the interest of NFT creators. Launched after the ecosystem's boom in May 2022, the new Terra blockchain is determined to rebuild from the ruins of its once magnificent empire.
Various community proposals and updates were implemented in the year 2023, a trend that seems to continue at the beginning of 2024. A stroll through Terra's X feed reveals new upgrades and developments in the first 10 days of 2024.
Station has introduced a new version, Station v3 Extension, which is an enhanced web application designed to interact with Terra Core and other supported chains. This marks the initial phase of the Station v3 deployment.
According to the announcement, Station v3 is now available for download from the Chrome Web and Microsoft Edge stores. The release of v3 dashboards and mobile applications is expected in the coming weeks. Despite these developments, the price of Terra (LUNA) remains stagnant, continuing the decline that began in early December 2023. As of now, LUNA has risen to $0.66 with a 0.67% increase in the last 24 hours.
