BULB App is here!

I am posting this here on BULB first and then will be sharing it throughout all of the other blogging platforms I use to help spread the word about BULB!

Not too long ago, I wrote an article called "BULB - Blogging Meets Blockchain" about a blogging platform called BULB. If not, I'll give you a quick explanation of what BULB is and why I think it might be the next big thing in blockchain and blogging. I will also go over why I think the release of the BULB app is going to change the game for BULB and bring more users to the platform.

BULB is a blogging platform that uses the Solana blockchain to share rewards using their native token called BULB with not only writers but also readers. I can see BULB becoming a well-known name in the blogging world. Especially since the release of its new app. The platform was a browser-based platform for a while until just recently. They recently released an app for the platform that you can download on Apple or Android, and it makes the experience that much easier. Not only does the app make things easier for the average user and the upcoming generation but it allows you to create a built-in wallet where you can hold your earnings.

The BULB app

The browser version of BULB was amazing, don't get me wrong. But if we want more people to use BULB, a mobile app is a must for the future. By releasing this app, and considering how easy it is to use, BULB is looking to reach new heights. Now, there are a few areas where the app could be improved, but let's save that for the end of this article. First, let's discuss what makes the BULB app stand out. The app is clean and user-friendly, allowing anyone with a passion for reading and writing to dive into blogging on a blockchain-based platform. No other platform has achieved this yet, and it truly sets the stage for what the future looks like for this next-level project.
When you first download the BULB app and open it, you'll be asked to create an account. I recommend choosing a username that stands out and truly represents who you are. You'll also need to create a wallet. You can use an existing wallet, like Phantom or Metamask, or you can create one directly within the BULB app. Be sure to write down your security phrase and keep it safe, it's the only way to recover your wallet if needed. Once you've completed these steps, you can start enjoying the platform.

How to use the app

The app is extremely easy to use. It's pretty much like the browser version, just without the ability to claim your rewards. For those unfamiliar with BULB, here's a brief explanation. You can earn on this platform by participating in the ecosystem. Writing, liking, disliking, commenting, and staking all allow you to earn easily. This platform is truly one of a kind. I haven't seen any other blogging blockchain project this user-friendly. Everything you do on the app still counts towards your challenges, you'll just need to use the browser version to claim them. I’m hopeing this feature will be added to the app in the future, although I’m not sure when or if it will. The only things that have really changed are the BULB app itself, threads (small posts), and the number of challenges available to claim.


When I first started using the BULB platform, there were only a couple of challenges. But as the platform has grown, many more options have been added. As you can see above, a significant number of these new challenges are for threads. I loved trying to complete these challenges, but having to do it on a computer was difficult since I don't have my computer with me all day. The BULB app now allows you to take advantage of the BULB platform no matter where you are, making it much easier to earn rewards. Just remember, at the moment, you'll need to use the browser version of BULB to claim your rewards and challenges.

Final Thoughts

No one knows what the future of Crypto holds but I have a gut feeling this is just the beginning. The price of Bitcoin just hit $100,000 the other day and I think 2025 is going to be something special for crypto enthusiasts. I have a strong feeling we are going to see some major changes in the coming years. Now is the time to get into these projects. You might think you are late to the party but believe me when I tell you this, the party has just begun.
