Today, I have yet another exciting news to share with you that is happening in the Crypto space. This is fresh out of the basket and remember where you read it first.

THE CONTROL PROTOCOL

The Control Protocol is a decentralized technology platform that transforms live sports into interactive experiences akin to real-life video games, placing real-time control of the action on the field or court into the hands of fans. The protocol aims to gamify the sports and entertainment sector by enabling fans to actively participate in live events, influencing outcomes in real-time. This dynamic technology layer, powered by the $CTRL token, not only rewards fan engagement but also creates a new era of interactive viewership. By merging digital gameplay with the thrill of live action, Control Protocol empowers fans to be more than spectators—they become an integral part of the live game experience, reshaping the $550 billion sports and gaming landscape.

$CTRL Token

The $CTRL token is an ERC-20 standard token deployed on the Mantle blockchain. It will serve as the primary utility and governance token for the Control Protocol, and will have a total fixed supply of 100,000,000,000 (100 billion) tokens.

Program Overview

Step into the future of interactive sports. Control Protocol is inviting CoinList community members to participate in the network, offering an opportunity to earn a part of 150,000,000 CTRL tokens (0.15% of the CTRL network supply) collectively. Simply download the Control Mobile app and engage in in-app picks & polls as well as mini-games to participate.

Control Protocol Rewards Program

Participation Criteria:
Certain jurisdictional limitations apply (i.e. users must be non-U.S./Canada and OFAC compliant). See the Eligibility Section below for more details.
Participation Limit:
Unlimited. The first 5,000 users to use the claim code and the top 500 bi-weekly users will be eligible for rewards.
Program Deadline:
Users must sign up before March 6, 2024 11:59 PST and must complete KYC verification by March 14, 2024 at 11:59 PST.
Allocated Rewards:
150,000,000 CTRL tokens representing 0.15% of the total token supply. All rewards will be distributed on March 14, 2024.
Timeline:
The program is expected to run from January 11, 2024 until March 7, 2024. The timeline is subject to change at their sole discretion.

Rewards

Rewards will be determined as follows for users who sign up before March 6, 2024 at 11:59 PST and KYC by March 14, 2024 at 11:59 PST. While participants are not required to have a CoinList account, participation in this program will be determined by linking your Control App account with the claim code indicated in this campaign upon signing up on the Control App.
The bi-weekly leader board rewards are as follows:
Rewards for the first 5,000 participants for downloading the app and for the 500 highest ranking participants in the bi-weekly leader board will be distributed at the end of the campaign period.
The CTRL token may fluctuate in value and there is no guarantee or warranty, express or implied, regarding its future value of performance.

How to Enter

Download the Control App.
On the Control App, click on the small figure in the upper right corner of the screen, go to settings, and enter claim code “CLxCTRL”.
Please use the claim code immediately upon app sign-up to ensure your participation eligibility in the current leaderboard week.
Play picks & polls and mini-games daily to earn leaderboard points.
Climb the leaderboard and earn rewards based on your ending rank per each leaderboard period.
Join the Control Protocol Discord to view leaderboard rankings.

Timeline

The CoinList x Control Protocol campaign will last until March 14, 2024. All leaderboard periods start at 12:00 am PST of the start date and end at 11:59 pm PST of the end date. For example, Leaderboard Period 1 begins January 11 at 12:00 am PST and closes January 24 at 11:59 pm PST. Rewards will be disbursed by 11:59 pm PST of the reward disbursement date, March 28, 2024.

Eligibility

A maximum of 5,000 users will be able to earn CTRL tokens by downloading the Control app and linking the CoinList claim code to their account. An additional maximum of 2,000 users can earn CTRL tokens by participating in picks & polls, and playing mini-games in-app.
Certain jurisdictional limitations apply (i.e. users must be non-U.S./Canada and OFAC compliant), as outlined here. Eligible recipients will be required to complete KYC verification on CoinList to qualify for rewards.

Token Utility

The CTRL Token will serve as the primary utility and governance token for The Control Protocol, which will power the digital interactive experience for live professional sports globally.
How the CTRL Token is being used at launch: The Control Protocol has already been adopted by Fan Controlled Sports and is in use with their professional football league, as well as with their auto-racing deployment with NASCAR and upcoming pro golf series with the PGA Tour.
On launch, the CTRL Token will provide holders with unique utility in all of these, including:

Rewards for Fans, Athletes & Contributors: CTRL Tokens will be used as incentives to reward fans, athletes, content creators, and other contributors for their involvement and positive contributions to the Control Protocol ecosystem. A component of these rewards will include ability for all contributors to utilize CTRL Tokens for minting unique utility-based and collectible NFTs. A few examples of utility from our last FCF season include giving our Ballerz NFT holders access to join new Ballerz teams, play calling boosts based on NFT traits, IRL experiences based on NFT traits (e.g. leading teams out of the tunnel before the game), and ability to win loot boxes with team gear, including autographed jerseys.
Access to Exclusive Content: Fans and contributors can use CTRL Tokens to access exclusive content from the practice fields, inside the locker room and 1:1 digital interviews with star players, coaches, and team owners. This content helps the top fans and contributors to get the greatest insight possible into their favorite players and teams, making them more knowledgeable to cast their vote and thus increasing the fan’s value to their team’s community within the Control Protocol.
Highly Unique Experiences: CTRL Tokens can be used to access tickets, field passes, meet and greets and highly unique VIP experiences at live Fan Controlled Sports events, which includes warming up the Quarterback before the game, driving in the pace car around the NASCAR track and hitting range balls with your team’s PGA Tour pro. These experiences enable fans and contributors to reach a level of access not available through any traditional sports league.
Voting Rights: CTRL Token holders can exercise their voting rights on various matters within the Control Protocol governance which includes determining the platform development roadmap, sports that will be activated and key partnerships to be established. Additionally, CTRL token holders will be empowered to vote in all relevant strategic decisions for the Fan Controlled Sports teams and players that they support. This includes choosing team names, logos and jerseys, drafting and trading players and casting live votes to select their football teams play, their golfer’s clubs and shots, and their race car’s strategy on the track.
Voting Powers: On all of these votes, the quantity of CTRL Tokens being held by a fan will determine their voting power. The more CTRL Tokens a fan holds the greater their power to make decisions for the Control Protocol and their favorite Fan Controlled Sports teams. CTRL tokens serve as a means of representing a fan's stake and commitment to the ecosystem. This design ensures that passionate and committed fans have a stronger say in shaping the future of the ecosystem, making it truly fan-controlled.

The Roadmap ahead for the CTRL Token: Upon launch CTRL token holders will vote to help determine the roll-out of additional utility and solutions on the Control Protocol, which will include:

Strategic Partnerships: The Control Protocol development team is already engaged with a myriad of leading sports leagues, major media platforms and game developers globally around adoption of the Control Protocol. CTRL Token holders will help determine which of these become a reality, as well as the timeline and format of the launch for all key partnerships.
Trading on the Control Protocol Marketplace: The development of a dedicated Control Protocol Marketplace that gives fans the ability to buy and sell digital items with CTRL Tokens, such as team or player NFTs, collectible moments, and digital fan profile gear.
Decentralized Peer-Review System: CTRL Tokens will be used to incentivize and manage a decentralized system for rating or reviewing fan, coach and player performances, contributor content quality and event experiences.
Fan Powered Initiatives: CTRL Tokens will be used to fund unique campaigns that are driven by the fans of a team, which may include fan-funded player transfers, all-star games or new sports leagues and events utilizing the Control Protocol. There is no limit to what CTRL Token holders can propose and vote to develop as we build the future of interactive sports around the world.
