Fiction: The Battle of Cosmic Champs Universe

Once upon a time in the history of the universe, there existed planets with different creatures called Champs, each having different characteristics and unique strengths. 
Before I discuss the strength and characteristics of these creatures called Champs, let me first of all describe their planets and how they came to be.

A long time ago, there existed a giant creature that had no name in the universe. This creature shared the planet with other dangerous beasts, but there came a time when they began wrestling for power and superiority. They split themselves into groups like we have in football games. 
The fight's rules stated that in order to win, you must eliminate your opponent by killing him. So the conquest began bloodily, and at the end of it, one winner emerged from each group. To take the conquests further by eliminating them, all the winners came together, and, by raffle, 12 of them were paired one against another, and they went into battle. The fight continued until just one winner was left. 
After he eliminated his last opponent, he called himself Champ from the word "Champion". 

Champ is notable for its ability to self-reproduce without the need for a female counterpart. That is, Champ was a hermaphrodite.
As time passed, Champ gave birth to 10 of them. Each of these Champs had a unique strength or characteristics. These include: 
1. The ability to spit fire at the most insignificant provocation.
2. The ability to stay underwater without being dragged out.
3. The ability to heal from any kind of injury.
4. The ability to appear and vanish at any time. 
5. The ability to change the color of one's skin. 
6. The ability to know other people's thoughts and know the future. 
7. The ability to run extremely quickly. 
8. The power to melt anything simply by touching it.
9. The ability to control others' minds and have them do anything. 
10. Ability to deafen others when he shouts.

These were the prominent characteristics of the children of Champ. So, all these 10 Champs grew and when they matured, they began to fight themselves for communion again for dominance just as it was with their father's generation.

It was at this point that their father intervened and split the universe into planets and shared them with them. He gave them a spaceship to help with their movements. They stayed peaceful in each other's territory until the death of their father. After Champ died, the children began invading each other's planets in a very forceful manner. They used their unique powers to destroy each other shortly after the death of their father, just to acquire their planets and exercise dominion over them. They forgot that they were brothers; they forgot the love they once had. They forgot their father's efforts to see that they stayed at peace with each other. No matter how loving one is, there is this innate desire to dominate others, even when they have nothing to lose should they decide to stay at peace with others.
