Unnatural society

Every morning when we awaken, we manage to get out of bed.
Some teenagers are blessed to get through the upcoming day.

Whether a blessing or not, we're all in a state of confusion as we ponder the blackboard and feel deceived.
In order to amuse ourselves, we talk far too much.
You're an airhead, the teacher adds as she gives us the finger.

The following period, we sit by ourselves and watch the time.
I beg you, please let the bell ring.
It keeps ticking over.

Our bodies are under the power of our anxieties.
When we get so fat, we lose our sense of reality.
Everything becomes muddled when it is present in the midst of our suffering.
Going mad is a game that our minds enjoy playing.

In the restroom stall, a boy consumes his apple.
While a bunch of snooty teenagers act like they have it all, two females enjoy lunch together yet, despite being friends, they wish they had more.

We imitate the girl in front as we exit the bus.
We act as though judging isn't harmful, so we dismiss it with a long grunt, but in reality, we're just uncaring.

We feel so remote when we enter the doors.
Either there is stillness or there are too many inquiries.
It's as though we could dine at the table while still being absent.
We are too burdened and have lost our patience.

I doubt if any of us can name the exact day it began.
We've grown too restless and depressed.
Maybe it was the first day of high school, where we lost our identity and were teased by the other students.
It must be a social structure from an artificial society.
