The DePIN train pushes on and comes with a long list of new up-and-coming projects. However, not every project will succeed. Nodepay appears to be the next DePIN on Solana to make waves after Grass. The NC token (Nodepay token) trades at $0.48 on Whales Market, a pre-market trading platform. I am still eagerly awaiting the results of Season 3 regarding airdrop allocations. Hopefully, it won’t be long now.
I am constantly researching new projects and recently came across today’s project. It has already secured $15 million in funding and has partnered with Phron AI, Atua AI, Script, and many more. OpenLoop is a Solana-based project and could be a top DePIN in the Solana ecosystem. The amount of partnerships and collaborations is mind-blowing.
Scrolling through OpenLoop’s official X account reveals a plethora of partnerships and ongoing development. Things are lining up for this Solana-based project. Downloading OpenLoop, I noticed there were 300K downloads, which is still not much when compared with Grass and Nodepay. OpenLoop could explode once it gains some much-deserved attention.
Revolutionizing Internet Incentives
Decentralized bandwidth-sharing has become a hot niche since Grass exploded onto the scene. Many of these projects also incorporate AI, reshaping this pre-existing business model. As mentioned, tokenization and decentralization take this idea to a new level, incentivizing participants and node operators. Create an OpenLoop account, download the browser extension, and begin earning points.
Grass, Nodepay, and Openloop are similar in practice. Once the Chrome extension is downloaded, it mines points in the background while the device is running. This is the case regardless of whether a user is using Grass or OpenLoop. The points mined dictate the size of the airdrop. The more you mine, the more tokens you receive. Each project has unique ways of boosting earnings.

OpenLoop users can boost earnings by purchasing Node Keys. Account holders can purchase multiple keys. Each node operator has to decide whether this will be a viable option. I have only installed OpenLoop, so I am unfamiliar with its earning potential.

Packaging and presentation are always key. OpenLoop has done a great job regarding the UI. It is one of the best I have seen, with Grass having the best presentation. I also noticed that Data Labeling and Data Curation are coming soon! At this stage, OpenLoop looks promising and could become one of Solana’s shining stars in its DePIN ecosystem.
