Being Proactive

One time, a popular skincare formulator made a post about trying to find a balance between work, parenting, and other activities as juggling all of it alone was
overwhelming.
It was a good time to pitch myself as my VA services were needed, besides I planned to make a Volunteer offer so my chances of being turned down would be slim
or so I thought.
I went ahead and sent a message explaining how I could help ease her work.
The response came almost immediately, I was told that my offer would have been considered but distance was a barrier as we lived in different cities.
At that time, I wasn't much of a proactive person, so rather than explain that distance couldn't be a problem as I could provide my services from a remote location I backed out of the conversation.
Backing out was a wrong move and I regretted it instantly. After that situation, I made a mental decision to tell anyone that cared to listen that I could perform VIRTUALLY any task regardless of distance, the time factor, and the difference in locations.
Any task ranging from digital marketing duties, calendar, appointment, and email management, customer relationship management to even engaging with followers on a post .As long as you provide me with a brief, I’ll execute.
Maybe making the wrong move was needed after all to
help me learn to be proactive.
