KEW ONE!
I hope I am not late for the Q1 review party, permit me to grab a drink. Shots of liquor may leave you feeling good at first but when the effects kick in you'll feel clobbered. This is a three-line sentence about how I felt in the first quarter.
I was excited and anxious about the year. I wrote my last exams as a B.pharm student the previous month, December. I was still very much confused about my under- graduate project work, "Las las God dey "was the saving mantra. On the 9th of January, while in transit to school, I listened to Maximizing personal retreats which is an audio sermon by Apostle Joshua Selman. I learned a great deal, and from the wonderful things, I learned I'll be sharing a few. He pointed out how life is spiritual and how times and seasons should not be trivialized,
retreats and reviews make us equipped. I took the word and lived it. So this is a review, or what I took away from specific areas in this first quarter.
Spiritually: You know how we listen to the inerrant word of God that leaves us shouting "Preach Pastor" or "Ride on sir/ma" with that nod? The message was so spot on and you are definitely convinced that you won't go back to those ways. Along the journey, it's like you are not feeling it cause you don't "give" what the man of God you religiously listen to "gives" in terms of display- ing supernatural wonders, accuracy in the word of God, and lengthy prayers. I was in this phase and learned some valid lessons like -

You need to decide to be free. Some of us want to let go but can't get over the pleasure that comes from those hangouts, clubs, hard drugs, cyber crimes and whatnot. You need to let go! Let go of your past, the labels. Punishing yourself won't appease your past, stop, and strain towards what is ahead.
Without mental transformation, the actions we take to "change" may only produce a new place where we continue to do the old things. Yes, I confessed HIS Lordship over my life and I'm saved, delivered from the oppression of the devil but deliv- erance isn't freedom if I'm still oppressed by the conditioning of my carnal mind. Renew your mind daily with the word of God, you know a man is what he eats so eat the word of God darling!
In conclusion, fellowship with God. Invest hours in the word, place of prayer. Have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Physically: This area took time to
vet properly. I learned that:
. Massive success requires massive actions. So I won't underestimate the value of making small improvements on a daily basis.

Being an introvert should not limit you from selling your brand, you.
Periodically, I read books to dis- connect from the sad reality called undergraduate projects. So I read books mostly from the genre of re- ligious, inspirational, and spiritual books. Atomic habits, purpose- driven life along with others. I'm
currently reading the burden of Freedom by Myles Munroe, such superior content. I've been more out on my socials this year. Well like 20% visible lol, give me credit. My vocabulary development and communication skills are thriving. For now, I quit any form of weight gain activity or thought till further notice.
All in all, it was a good quarter. I can't imagine concluding this without talking about my friends who have been with me during my terrible lows and exhilarating moments. Thank you MVPS for the calls, advice, gifts, prayers, and hugs(I need lessons to be a hugger). 2023 still has three more quarters and it's going to be a banger, lol.
Cheers to us as we fulfill purpose, and glorify God at every front.Love
and light
