My Crypto Discord Weekly Round-Up #4
Crypto Media is a great source of information, it's very easily digested as it's all organised for you. Not a lot in it outside the mainstream projects though and when that information gets to you it's usually old.
Crypto Twitter is a great source of information too, but it's literally everything so the noise can often overpower any signal. Hard to identify what the people posting have to do with the projects they're talking about too.
Crypto Discords are kind of the best of both worlds. They have the structure that Crypto Twitter does not (and can never have) but go deeper then Crypto Media can (or will ever be able to). The downside is you need to actually be in the Discords to see the information.
There's a lot of interesting stuff that gets announced in Discords that I see, that others don't.
I'm sharing anything I think is particularly noteworthy for people outside of the Discords.
And quite frankly I love what these teams are doing and think it should get more airtime so I'm trying to do my bit to make that happen.
I post daily on my Solcial account (see link at the bottom of the post) and on BULB I'm doing a weekly summary of those posts in a blog post (like the one you're reading now!).
The rules I've set for myself are pretty simple:
- I only post from the official announcements channel/s in each Discord. No gated token/NFT gated channels and no discussions from the channels.
- I only post what I find interesting. Your mileage may vary. I do have a soft spot for alpha though...
- I use the same prompt each time to generate a cover image for the post: discord weekly round up

When I migrated my veVELO it only worked after I'd retracted the voting rights on Reaper Farms. I wasted about a $1 in transaction fees figuring that out. So make sure you do that first. Also refresh the page if a transaction looks like it hasn't gone through.

This week THENA on BNB Chain receives their first $ERN pool.

By this time next week the goal is to have an ERN-BNBx, ERN-OATH and ERN-FRAX LP pairs ready for the new epoch. As covered in the recent townhall, OATH activities on Thena have net an estimated 5.6x ROI and we are excited to continue this trend by introducing all of these co-incentivized pools.
And as well, EQAULIZER on Fantom receives it's first $ERN pool.
ERN-wFTM
With recent FUD regarding bridged USDC and other tokens on Fantom being bridged, we hope ERN can be a beacon of stability and resilience for the network in uncertain times. Similar to BNB Chain, the aim will be to continue expanding ERN coverage on Fantom, with a core pool forming on Beethoven for ERN-rfUSD (Reaper Boosted USD). The Velodrome Vaults including the veVELO voters have now been deprecated.
You can access any of the vaults you were in by using the **'Filters' **menu and **enabling 'staked',** then head to the portfolio view to withdraw. The other route is by enabling 'Inactive Vaults' and then selecting Velodrome in the Farm Host menu.
***Thank you for choosing Reaper** as your compounding solution for Velodrome. *
At this stage their v2 vaults sit as a low priority development with the exception of ERN & OATH related LP vaults which we aim to provide as soon as it is feasible. A lot of work has been done on rebuilding the veVOTER Vault solution too so expect an article and relaunch once development is complete.
