Happy International Labor Day Everybody!

Wherever you are greetings of solidarity to you in celebration of International Labor Day, the one day of the year where workers are recognized for their contribution in building the economy of the world. The one year were workers are given accolades for building the modern infrastructures and communication of the world. But forgotten and left to their own for the rest of the year. Not given the salary increase they much deserve for making a business thrive and success, for making the industry flourish and develop but never given a share for its success and development. Today workers have to take two jobs just feed their family, work long hours to pay the rent, spent sleepless night worrying were to get the next mortgage payment. Workers needs to organize and build unions to protect their economic rights because nobody will do it for them, business owners will do everything with the help of the government to make it difficult for workers to build their unions, workers have to go on strike to make it happen. The economy has grown so big, the production has raised so high but the workers wages has remain stagnant not even enough to catch up with raising prices. Economist and business leaders warns of inflation if workers wages are raised but ignoring to say that workers has no role in inflation, it's the greediness of business owners that is pushing the inflation high, it's the government's failure for not reigning in the greediness of business owners to the detriment not only of the workers but the whole country as well. Today's labor Day let's us not forget that workers are the reason our economy and country is functioning, it's not enough to just celebrate it, let's keep it in our heart and mind.
