Wedding Rush: Accident Adds Stress to Family's Plans

I hope you all are having a good day. I am doing well too. I just woke up and heard the news that one of my family cousins had an accident, and they suffered severe injuries. 
My aunt has a nasal fracture, and my other cousin dislocated their shoulder. Please pray for their speedy recovery. It's a very difficult time for them because there's a wedding at their house just 10 days after Eid, and all the arrangements still need to be made.
I just called my aunt to inquire about her well-being and asked her how all this happened. She told me that yesterday they spent the whole day shopping in the markets while fasting, and in the evening, after breaking the fast, when they were returning home, everyone in the car fell asleep including the driver. As a result, our car mounted the sidewalk and flipped over.
Although all this happened due to their own carelessness, to some extent, we suspect that there might be some other reason behind it. You can also share your opinions in the comment section. If you are a Muslim who observes fasting, you can relate to the feeling of extreme fatigue and drowsiness that sets in after fasting the whole day. Opening the fast in the evening is often accompanied by a sudden wave of laziness and a strong reluctance to even get up.But we are very surprised in this matter that there were about 5 to 6 people in the car and all of them fell asleep at the same time, including the driver. 
What's even more surprising is that it wasn't very late in the evening, probably around 7 or 8 o'clock, and usually, the family sleeps around 3 or 4 in the morning, but last night they all fell asleep together.
Our suspicion is that perhaps someone at the hotel where they had their Iftar meal may have spiked their food with some kind of sedative, especially considering they had a lot of shopping items with them, and in today's circumstances, it's not uncommon for people to be tempted to do such things. But what's perplexing is that all their belongings are intact. What are your thoughts on this matter? What could be the reason behind it? Because it seems impossible for everyone to fall asleep while driving at the same time like that, especially with so much activity going on simultaneously.
Well, whatever the case may be, we thank Allah that they are all safe and sound, and they didn't suffer any major harm, so their lives were spared. The most important thing is that there is nothing more precious than health.

My mother and brother have been out since morning, and I'm about to leave now to check on them. The purpose of telling you all this is to always be cautious while driving and to refrain from driving when you're extremely tired. Otherwise, you could also become a victim of such accidents.
