Maverick Airdrop is a warning bell for cheaters? As you know, on June 28, Maverick Protocol conducted an airdrop for users to experience the project's products early. After the Airdrop distribution to users ended, the reward method was a controversial topic for the global Retroactive community.
So what is the lesson learned after Maverick's Airdrop? Please refer to my perspective through the article below!

Evaluation criteria are not clear?

Although, Maverick has announced the criteria to evaluate reasonable users for the $MAV token Airdrop with 5 criteria:
Provide liquidity, according to TVL and time of supply
Achieve Contributor role or higher in Maverick Warrior Program (announced a few days after project mainnet)
Participate in Snapshot governance voting
Trading volume using Maverick UI
Holding Maverick MAVA NFT (from event on Galxe)
According to the official announcement from Maverick. The snapshot time took place at 03:00 on June 23 (Vietnam time)... After announcing the snapshot, Maverick introduced the new Incentives program with a series of promised rewards in the future.

However, if only based on the initial information from the above 5 evaluation criteria, the number of eligible users for Maverick's Airdrop is probably very large... when the majority of Airdrop & Retroactive communities in Vietnam have reached the maximum. Minimum 3 or more criteria but not eligible to receive Airdrop tokens at the time of Rewards distribution...

The above controversy also arose on the project's official Discord Server with negative feedback from Global users...

Do valid wallet addresses receive huge amounts of tokens?

Lessons learned from Maverick Airdrop?

Currently, the Airdrop & Retroactive plowing community is afraid that the rewards of future Airdrop bets will be "split" when a series of tools that support hundreds to thousands of accounts are increasingly accessible to users. .

Recognizing the above problem, in this Airdrop distribution, the project has allocated 60.7% of the $MAV tokens distributed to Liquidity Providers (LP) on the 2 networks ETH and Zksync Era and 20% for MAVAs. Holders => These are two criteria commented by the community to prevent "cheats" from automating the Airdrop plowing process from several hundred to several thousand wallet addresses.

More than 120K wallet addresses received the airdrop with an average reward of $88 per address.

However, addresses that provide LP for a long time on the protocol will easily receive rewards from several thousand to $10K++. The vast majority of wallet addresses that offer LP receive a 600% APR when adding LP to the stETH/ETH pair for a period of 2 months.

If you accompany the project from the beginning, and provide 1-5% of the TVL amount on the protocol, you will create a good relationship with the project development team and can receive many other benefits and bonuses. Maverick allocated 5% of total supply in the first 10 weeks of farming and drove growth in project parameters

=> The golden time to optimize profits is the first 1-2 weeks when TVL is still low (however high profits come with high risks)
