There Is No Age For Success!
There are many people in this world who have left their age behind through their actions. It is true that there is a limit to the functioning of our body. With increasing age, the body's ability to function decreases, but people who have high spirits, who wish to do something in life, who have enthusiasm and zeal, whose willpower and determination are strong, are such No obstacle is too big for individuals. Such people are full of self-confidence, who make even the impossible possible.
We don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing.
Youth is not the name of any age, but the name of strength. One who has awakened the power of his mind and soul is young even at the age of 70.
Many people, as they grow older, start thinking that now that we have become old, βwe can no longer do all thisβ. This very thinking of theirs makes them weak and does not allow them to do any work. A person does many times more work with his mind than he does with his body. If the powers of the mind have become weak, then there is a need to awaken them.
A historical story related to the awakening of Shakti comes to mind.
A king had many elephants, but one elephant was very powerful, very obedient, intelligent and adept in war skills. He was sent in many wars and returned after giving victory to the king, hence he was the most favorite elephant of the king. Time passed and a time came when he started looking old. Now he was not able to work as before. Therefore now the king did not even send him to the war field. One day he went to the lake to drink water, but his foot got stuck in the mud there and then he kept sinking. The elephant tried hard, but could not get himself out of the mud. People came to know from his trumpeting sound that the elephant was in trouble. The news of the elephant being trapped reached the king also.
Everyone including the king gathered around the elephant and started making various physical efforts to free it. When no solution was found after trying for a long time, the king called his most experienced minister. The minister came and inspected the spot and then suggested to the king that war drums should be played around the lake. The listeners found it strange that how would the beating of drums bring out the trapped elephant, which could not come out even with the physical efforts of many people.
Surprisingly, as soon as the war drums started playing, the expression of that dying elephant started changing. At first he stood up slowly and then, surprising everyone, he himself came out of the mud. Now the minister made it clear to everyone that there was no lack of physical capacity of the elephant, all that was needed was to instill enthusiasm in it. It is clear from this story of the elephant that once enthusiasm and zeal awakens in our mind, then we automatically start getting the energy to work and enthusiasm towards work has no relation with the age of a person.
To maintain enthusiasm in life, it is necessary that a person maintains positive thinking and does not allow disappointment to dominate. Sometimes, due to continuous failures, a person assumes that he can no longer function as before, but this is not the complete truth.
Friends, famous thinker John O'Donahue says β
βYou are as young as you feel. If you start feeling the enthusiasm within, you will feel a youth which no one can take away from youβ.
If there is enthusiasm in the mind, age never becomes a hindrance in the path of work. Only our negative thinking becomes a hindrance. If work has to be done then work can be done at any age, methods of work can be changed and work can be done better and more efficiently than before.
The effect of age can be reduced to a great extent by our efforts, positive thinking and enthusiasm, so before saying that we have become old, we cannot do this, we cannot do that, think about all those people. For whom age is nothing more than a number. If they can do it then anyone can do it, so let's start dreaming again, chase them again and make our dreams come true once again.
