Engage2Earn Results: Week 2 Shows Promise, But Can We Keep It Up?
Alright team, settle in! Week 2 of the Auspol Engage2Earn initiative on Bulb has wrapped, and it's time to cast an eye over the results, see what we learned, and importantly, see how it compares to our opening round in Week 1.
For anyone playing catch-up, Engage2Earn is our community project where we band together to boost specific online content related to Aussie politics. The goal is to cut through the noise, fight misinformation, and support sensible voices. When we successfully hit the targets on missions posted to the Auspol Bulb profile, we unlock $AUSPOL tokens that get pooled for a weekly airdrop to our active followers. It's about making a difference and getting rewarded for it.
Need the full detailed rundown on how it all works? All the rules, reward calculations, and background are in our main guide:

Week 2 Recap: Hits and Misses
Week 2 saw four main missions go [LIVE]
Mission: Engage2Earn: Shayne is helping koalas!
- Status: FAILED ❌
- Outcome: We started with a mission focused on Shayne Neumann MP's work with koalas. A genuinely good cause! Unfortunately, despite decent pushes on some platforms (like 84% on X), none of the individual platform targets were fully met. Result: 0 $AUSPOL unlocked. Looks like saving the koalas (online, at least) needs a bit more community muscle!
Mission: Engage2Earn: Dutton = MAGA
- Status: SUCCESS! ✅
- Outcome: This one hit a nerve! Targeting content linking Peter Dutton to the MAGA ideology saw strong community engagement, especially on X where goals were hit at 78% and an impressive 200%! While the Facebook side didn't quite get there (90% and 86%), the success on X was enough to declare victory and unlock 15 Million $AUSPOL for the pool. Beauty!
Mission: Engage2Earn: Dr. Gordon Reid MP boost!
- Status: FAILED ❌
- Outcome: An attempt to boost content for Dr. Gordon Reid, Labor MP for Robertson. Similar to some other local MP boosts, this one struggled to gain enough traction across the board, with Facebook hitting 53%/78% and Instagram 46%. No targets fully met meant 0 $AUSPOL unlocked.
Mission: Engage2Earn: Meryl Swanson boost!
- Status: SUCCESS! ✅ (Assuming final based on data)
- Outcome: Finishing strong! This mission aimed to boost Meryl Swanson, Labor MP for Paterson. The data showed the Facebook goal hit 100% - fantastic effort! Even though the Instagram goal was lagging (10%), achieving that key Facebook target secured the win, adding 20 Million $AUSPOL to the weekly pool. (We're assuming the mission closed as Success given that 100% goal completion – the final Bulb post should confirm).
The Week 2 Scoreboard?
- Total Missions Completed: 4
- Successful Missions: 2
- Success Rate: 50%
- Total $AUSPOL Unlocked for Week 2 Airdrop: 15M + 20M = 35 Million $AUSPOL

Week 1 Flashback: How Does Week 2 Compare?
Now for the interesting bit – how does this stack up against our first week? As mentioned, I couldn't access the live Week 1 post just now, but based on the data we worked with previously:
- Week 1 Missions: 6 attempted
- Week 1 Successes: 1
- Week 1 Success Rate: Approx. 17% (1 out of 6)
- Week 1 Unlocked $AUSPOL: 20 Million $AUSPOL
- Week 1 Potential $AUSPOL: Was around 102 Million $AUSPOL
(You can find the full Week 1 breakdown here: https://www.bulbapp.io/p/b370f21d-31a4-40a1-9058-ed7373696f98/engage2earn-week-1-one-ripper-result-lessons-learned
The Showdown: Week 2 vs Week 1
The difference is pretty stark, isn't it?
- Success Rate: We jumped from a fairly dismal 17% success rate in Week 1 to a much healthier 50% in Week 2! That’s a massive improvement, showing we're getting better at coordinating or perhaps choosing more achievable targets.
- Rewards Unlocked: We banked 35 Million $AUSPOL this week, compared to 20 Million in Week 1. That's a 75% increase in the rewards heading to the community pool! More success = more rewards. Simple as that.
- Participation Impact: While we can't measure exact participation numbers easily, the improved success rate strongly suggests either more people got involved, or people were more effective in their engagement. Maybe folks are getting the hang of jumping on

missions quickly?
Overall, Week 2 looks like a solid step in the right direction. We learned from Week 1, adapted (perhaps subconsciously!), and achieved significantly better results. Stoked about that!
Why the Turnaround? What Did We Learn?
It’s hard to pinpoint exact reasons without deeper analysis, but a few things might be at play:
- Learning Curve: Everyone's getting more familiar with how Engage2Earn works. Practice makes perfect!
- Community Growth: Perhaps more people followed the Auspol profile on Bulb during Week 1, increasing the pool of potential participants for Week 2. Remember: more active followers = higher chance of success!
- Mission Focus: The highly successful "Dutton = MAGA" mission suggests that focusing on potent, timely political themes drives strong engagement. Maybe broad MP boosts are harder than targeted issue campaigns?
- Platform Strategy: Success came via X for one mission and Facebook for another. Understanding where our community's strength lies on different platforms might be key.
But let's not get complacent. A 50% failure rate still means we missed out on potential rewards! There's still plenty of room to improve our coordination and impact.
Week 3 Kicks Off NOW!
Guess what? The clock resets! Week 3 of Auspol Engage2Earn starts today
Let's take the momentum from Week 2 and smash it! New missions will be posted throughout the week on the Auspol Bulb profile. Let's see if we can push that success rate even higher and build an even bigger $AUSPOL pot for the next airdrop!
Don't Drop the Ball: Keep Australia MAGA-Free!
It’s worth repeating why this matters beyond just the tokens. The political temperature is rising as we head towards the next federal election. The online space is crucial, and it's under attack from forces peddling division, misinformation, and imported political poison like the MAGA ideology.
That stuff thrives on chaos, attacks on truth, and undermining democratic norms. It has no place here. Engage2Earn is one small way we, as a community, can actively push back. By boosting fact-based content, supporting sensible voices, and coordinating our online engagement, we make it harder for the rubbish to spread.
Think of each successful mission as reinforcing the foundations of a healthier Aussie democracy online. It’s about promoting the kind of debate we want to see – robust, fair, maybe a bit cheeky, but ultimately grounded in reality and Aussie values.
