Quant'um
What Is Quant (QNT)?
Quant is a platform that offers technologies to break down communication barriers across different distributed ledgers (DLTs) and connect them. A DLT is a synchronized database that individuals from many locations and time zones can access. The implementation of a distributed ledger does away with the requirement for a centralized authority to monitor manipulation. Among DLTs, blockchain is an illustration. The platform's goal is to connect all DLTs for more rapid and effective growth.
The limited adoption of the distributed ledger due to its technical complexity is the issue that the Quant platform is attempting to address. The lack of a technological method for users to move their data among different DLTs and choose which DLT is best for them is the platform's second main issue. By creating an interoperable system that can securely and effectively connect diverse DLTs without creating any bottlenecks, Quant seeks to address these problems.
History
Inventor Gilbert Verdian is the driving force behind Quant's technology. He was the first to recognize the potential of DLTs, particularly blockchains, to address the security-related issues posed by the exchange of information and assets across digital channels. In addition to this, he formerly served as the CISO for the Department of Health in Australia and HM Treasury in the UK government (2009). The platforms' CTO Peter Marirosans, COO Lara Verdian, and CMO Andrew Carrier make up the rest of the core staff.
